Well all of them are their own books lol

2019-05-22 22:25:05 UTC

It's not really the intent for most people to understand anything in the Bible

2019-05-22 22:25:22 UTC

Metaphors were used, so the common people could understand back then

2019-05-22 22:26:05 UTC

If John saw a vision of a futuristic war, he's gonna write using the terminology he knows

2019-05-22 22:26:51 UTC

But, it seems we are closing in the age of revelation

2019-05-22 22:27:04 UTC

either us or our kids will witness it

2019-05-22 22:30:24 UTC

Maybe

2019-05-22 22:30:35 UTC

But they thought that in 70 AD too

2019-05-22 22:30:51 UTC

When Jewrusalem got nuked

2019-05-22 22:33:09 UTC

And in 793 when the Vikings raided lindisfarne

2019-05-22 22:33:16 UTC

They are trying to rebuilt the temple of solomon

2019-05-22 22:33:37 UTC

Which one of the books actually talks about that? The new Christians thinking the end times were there.

2019-05-22 22:33:40 UTC

when the temple finish it will be the start of the end

2019-05-22 22:34:39 UTC

It was one of the letter-books that Paul wrote.

2019-05-22 22:37:08 UTC

Some people are trying but there's Muslim sites where they want to put it

2019-05-22 22:37:54 UTC

Well yeah. The dome of the rock is in the way šŸ¤£

2019-05-22 22:38:29 UTC

They say that the muslims sites will be destroyed before the work of solomon temple begins

2019-05-22 22:39:00 UTC

Everyone is too much of a bitch to fight Islam.

2019-05-22 22:39:43 UTC

Turkey is going to drag us all into a war if they keep it up, so who knows

2019-05-23 00:47:43 UTC

@Deleted User explain more on ā€œItā€™s not really the intent for most people to understand anything in the Bibleā€

2019-05-23 00:54:35 UTC

Our religion existed before the Bible was written

2019-05-23 00:54:44 UTC

The faith is in the soul and the people, not the paper

2019-05-23 00:54:57 UTC

The Bible is just a tiny, tiny part of it

2019-05-23 00:55:19 UTC

As John wrote, there's so much Jesus did that if it was all written down, all the books in the world could not contain it

2019-05-23 00:56:18 UTC

Particularly in southern KJV churches they seem to almost worship the Bible itself

2019-05-23 00:56:40 UTC

Which is a mere brief of what really happened. The contents are true, but they are only a piece of the story

2019-05-23 00:57:11 UTC

And the Bible is not necessary to believe. Of course you must believe in the Bible, but you can also believe without it

2019-05-23 00:57:37 UTC

The evidence of God and knowledge of God's existence can be reached without any books. Merely by logic, reason, and observation.

2019-05-23 00:58:04 UTC

A man on an island alone with no Bible can figure out that God exists

2019-05-23 00:58:14 UTC

So can the Sentinelese

2019-05-23 00:58:57 UTC

Even Jesus did not generally preach to atheists or even gentiles. Most of his audience already believed in the true God

2019-05-23 00:59:34 UTC

Thus the need for missionaries to convince stubborn or misled people

2019-05-23 03:05:37 UTC

@Deleted User explain 2nd Peter 3:15-16

2019-05-23 03:36:07 UTC

Means exactly what it says

2019-05-23 04:26:56 UTC

I pledge to everyone here that my Faith is absolute. There is nothing left that can shake it, nor any temptations left.

The Great One is in control now
Gott Mit Uns

2019-05-23 04:26:56 UTC

And Stormbreaker speaks. Yes, I have become Christian. And yes, I am exploring Catholicism.

2019-05-23 04:27:18 UTC

@Stormbreaker Hitler is not Jesus Christ.

2019-05-23 04:27:35 UTC

The Great One is the Sword of Michael

2019-05-23 04:33:02 UTC

I get what you mean Rags. The Bible isnā€™t necessary for Christianity, but itā€™s contents sort of are.

2019-05-23 04:33:50 UTC

Iā€™ve read where muslims are suddenly having visions or something that convinces them to look outside of Islam for salvation.

2019-05-23 04:35:25 UTC

Thereā€™s even that one muslims girl who wrote a book about her conversion. She had a sudden realization that something was odd that Allah could only understand her if she spoke in the ā€œchosen languageā€. That began her journey to learning about Christianity.
