They're also the ones leaning on smaller countries

2018-10-26 19:28:26 UTC

Economically, yes, Militarily, not so much.

2018-10-26 19:28:31 UTC

If the EU is meant to keep Germany down, it's time to scrap it

2018-10-26 19:28:48 UTC

Well the EU army isnt done yet

2018-10-26 19:28:53 UTC

There's still time for a home run

2018-10-26 19:29:07 UTC

Trump says a lot of things, @Beemann. The problem is that no one can believe any of it. 😦

2018-10-26 19:29:38 UTC

and I love again that when I undercut to the heart of the situation with a bold statement like I made again, no one contests it.

2018-10-26 19:29:43 UTC

What does the UK lose from seeing the offer? They already have a mandate to leave

2018-10-26 19:29:49 UTC

If i were Britain, I wouldn't feel sound taking a Trump comment to the bank

2018-10-26 19:30:33 UTC

@JustTom , I thought you were being sarcastic.

2018-10-26 19:31:05 UTC

They had a vote, the vote came out leave, now they need new trade deals and not a pseudo-exit

2018-10-26 19:31:12 UTC

No, I'm serious there. The EU is causing more trouble than they're worth. If this is the direction everything is taking, we really should back out entirely and let them burn for a couple years before we swoop in and rescue them again. Just like WW1. And WW2.

2018-10-26 19:31:29 UTC

Trump offered them a deal if they actually did it, and May decided to continue to undermine the public

2018-10-26 19:31:31 UTC

To my knowledge, @Beemann , there is no offer to see. The US hasn't offered anything to UK.

2018-10-26 19:31:36 UTC

EU is likely to fuck up the entire internet in January.

2018-10-26 19:31:58 UTC

Iirc it was conditional on them actually leaving

2018-10-26 19:32:00 UTC

Already fucked up a dozen countries with unlimited illegal migrants.

2018-10-26 19:32:08 UTC

And they still haven't

2018-10-26 19:32:12 UTC

@JustTom , European wars pull in the US.

2018-10-26 19:32:16 UTC

Now wants to fuck up what tiny amount of military power they have left.

2018-10-26 19:32:31 UTC

Japan pulled in the US

2018-10-26 19:32:34 UTC

@Beemann , because Ireland

2018-10-26 19:32:56 UTC

Not just because Ireland, because the ruling class likes the EU

2018-10-26 19:34:14 UTC

@DrYuriMom You're right. And we will be pulled in again. But let them have their war for a bit first, it'll give them time to kill all of the people in charge who're causing the trouble they're in now, wipe out the insane lefties who're ruining their countries, wipe out the insane rightwingers who would push too far the other way, kill off or drive out most of the financial migrants that've invaded their countries for the last few years, and bring them back into a situation where they can stand on their own feet again and start moving forward towards a brighter future.

THEN we move in and help them end the war, and enjoy the great boom of post-war economy.

2018-10-26 19:35:32 UTC

And where does Russia and China fit into all this?

2018-10-26 19:35:47 UTC

This isn't an experiment where we can control for all the variables.

2018-10-26 19:35:47 UTC

Here's the thing- the UK holds all the cards here. The EU isn't going to cut them out of trade, they're still going to be dependent on the UK. Instead of leveraging this and getting what they want, May and co have attempted to capitulate as much as possible at every turn

2018-10-26 19:36:08 UTC

Because they don't want to leave, the demos does

2018-10-26 19:36:30 UTC

Um, as I see it the UK needs the EU more than the reverse. All the UK has for it is holding Ireland over the EUs head.

2018-10-26 19:36:44 UTC

Lolno

2018-10-26 19:36:45 UTC

arms providers, Russia will likely reconquer a territory or two, and China will use it to strengthen their ties to the EU for trade.

They may even attempt to field small armies to join in an attempt to sway the EU more to a communist ideology. But once the US steps in, none of that matters, because capitalism and the US military will soundly end it.

2018-10-26 19:36:51 UTC

Look up who pays into the EU and who takes out

2018-10-26 19:37:08 UTC

The UK is the EU's biggest piggie bank

2018-10-26 19:37:26 UTC

Many of those banks are making moves ashore

2018-10-26 19:37:39 UTC

I wasn't talking about literal banks what

2018-10-26 19:37:39 UTC

London is in a panic over it

2018-10-26 19:37:53 UTC

The country that pays the most into the European Union is the UK

2018-10-26 19:38:04 UTC

@JustTom , but China is capitalist now

2018-10-26 19:38:13 UTC

HAhahahahaahahahahahahahahahahaha

2018-10-26 19:38:17 UTC

oh god, that was a good one Cat
