Pretty much how good game developers try to blend gameplay with the narrative to make it fun and immersive but all SJW media has to prioritize the propaganda so the gameplay has to be dull and boring so you cant be distracted
If we are still talking about Battlefield the reason people care is because immediately after touting their game as probably the most realistic ever they showed a trailer of a FEMALE British Commando with a prosthetic arm and a cricket bat as a weapon in the middle of the most ridiculous set piece I've seen possibly ever.
Its less boycotting the game because of sjw and more because its such a radical departure of what they have done and what they promised. It to Battlefield to Fortnite quality in one trailer and when we complained we got called bigots.
They could have just let their character creator allow for women if they wanted that to be possible. But the say nothing has changed while viture signaling so hard that it damaged the franchise then doubled down. It shows a complete disrespect for the original fanbase and the series as a whole.
It would be like if Madden said this year would be the best most realistic ever then had Trans Bruce Jenner on the box and a team full of girls and trannies as the best team.
They are catering to people who dont even own consoles harder than the people who actually support them.

Hated how EA intentionally killed Titanfall 2 by releasing it between Battlefield 1 and CoD. Did it intentionally so it wouldn’t take sales from Battlefield and so they could tell Respawn ‘Your game sold terribly! It didn’t meet our projections we set for you!’ Just so they could merge all of Respawn into their company
Hate how EA does that. Gives a developer unrealistic sales figures or intentionally puts barriers in the way of the games success so they can take a small hit in the present but in the long run take control over an entire IP and development house staff
Titanfall 2 was awesome and played the hell out of it and even with EA trying to ruin it they made it last for a lot longer then I anticipated
give some advice here, never ever trust EA to make a competent decision ever. they'll buy a new company, have them do x, have it fail because it's not what they did before, then dispose of them.
