That's cool! Apparently they are part of a 5 city project where 2 american, 1 Canadian, 1 finish and 1 Japanese city trade and had sporting events together.
You're pretty close. wow
here's a better shot
the same train is the model for the 999
My great uncle used to teach English in Aichi during the 80s.
crazy
it is.
its a small world 😄
Gifu is a lot bigger then Thunder Bay. three times the population
really? Gifu is crazy countryside
my brother is trying to score a place in Mino city because he does sport kayaking/play boating
the Nagara river is insanely good
there's a good ski resort close by too
I see a big city section on Google maps.
300,000 people
my city is only 108,000
that may be including Ohgaki? I don't think Gifu city alone could be 300k
if you add Ohgaki in then it would probably hit that easy though
my*
I think proabbly a lot gets lumped into Gifu city because a lot of the surrounding cities don't even have tax offices etc.
there's a ghost town just west of Mino city/north east of Gify City I've been wanting to go see
was a big logging operation there, now it's just abandoned
Sounds cool!
most famouse is the copper mine in Nicchitsu
there's a bunch of those
if you look at Thunder Bay on a map you'll see we're on the edge of a massive forest
Nicchitsu
on the coast of Lake Superior
This happened this morning

how long has that forest town been abandoned?
@Deleted User that's pretty cool
the logging town has been abandoned since the late 90's
actual construction was 70's
So its been there awhile. I remember exploring an abandoned mining town here. was really cool
early education is important
@Deleted User Hong Kong is british
I know. When it was turned back over to the Chinese in 1997 over a million fled to Canada
