There's an academy. Mine was 11 weeks. Most states are twice as long. No school part. It's like basic training. When you join the army you don't go to school. You go to basic training
Yeah we have a lot of classroom stuff but it's all part of the academy
So she's taking a basic criminal justice class

She's not gonna be a cop, she's taking a class that a shitload of people take, half my academy class was high school diploma and GED
There’s several people I went to high school with that got a degree in criminal justice.
Either decided to actually go to the police academy or whatever, or applied for a CSI type job.
