I mean
I'm betting NG is about as well-trained as conscripts

2019-03-20 18:58:17 UTC

NG are conscripts.

2019-03-20 18:58:54 UTC

it would also inspire national pride and stability.

2019-03-21 00:18:39 UTC

NG are all volunteer

2019-03-21 00:18:46 UTC

But it should be conscripts

2019-03-21 00:19:24 UTC

It varies from unit to unit. A lot of combat arms in the NG are really good but they work jobs that keep them that way. Firefighters, EMS, cops, security etc

2019-03-21 00:19:39 UTC

NG Special Forces are just as good as any

2019-03-22 10:13:59 UTC

Guys

2019-03-22 10:14:57 UTC

Please convince me of the existance of God.

However, you cannot quote the Bible or mention it once.

I mean this for real, like reasons that made you believe in Him

2019-03-22 13:49:18 UTC

Please convince me that George Washington existed and was the first United States President. However, you cannot quote any historical documents that mention his existence (the constitution, Declaration of Independence, or any journals/letters). You can’t use any existence of artwork that is supposedly of him either (paintings, statues, etc.). See how stupid that sounds? Fuck off with that bullshit.

2019-03-22 14:16:27 UTC

It is an honest question, tbh

2019-03-22 14:17:37 UTC

The Bible is a compilation of books written by men. Many other books were left out. So the Bible can be, and is, biased

2019-03-22 14:17:59 UTC

I am just looking for an alternative source of proof

2019-03-22 14:19:46 UTC

LOL

2019-03-22 14:20:07 UTC

"I'm looking for an alternative source of proof but you can't use everything we already know"

2019-03-22 14:20:26 UTC

prove to me the earth is round

2019-03-22 14:20:58 UTC

you can't use any scientific evidence provided by NASA

2019-03-22 14:21:30 UTC

My point is that I cannot consider the Bible as a legitimate source of proof

2019-03-22 14:21:39 UTC

So, let me rephrase

2019-03-22 14:21:52 UTC

Why is the Bible a legitimate source?

2019-03-22 14:22:09 UTC

it's a historical document

2019-03-22 14:22:19 UTC

a massive, cross-referenced historical document

2019-03-22 14:22:32 UTC

you literally can't have anything better

2019-03-22 14:23:01 UTC

What about the fact that God acts like two different characters in the Old and New Testament?

2019-03-22 14:23:12 UTC

I honestly am searching for answers

2019-03-22 14:23:14 UTC

new covenant

2019-03-22 14:23:44 UTC

Ok, lemme Google that and search for a big

2019-03-22 14:23:47 UTC

*bit

2019-03-22 14:23:56 UTC

as in

2019-03-22 14:24:07 UTC

Jesus brought us the new covenant

2019-03-22 14:25:47 UTC

honestly tho if you insist on being skeptical about it you'll never find God, because you need faith

2019-03-22 14:26:16 UTC

no "proof" will ever be good enough

2019-03-22 14:27:19 UTC

He's trying to ask an honest question so let's not be hard on the guy

2019-03-22 14:28:01 UTC

From my denominational perspective the Church is older than some parts of the Bible anyway

2019-03-22 14:28:21 UTC

Here is my argument to you @Deleted User

2019-03-22 14:28:36 UTC

Nothing in existence is self created. You cannot be your own father

2019-03-22 14:28:56 UTC

Therefore everything that exists, is created, by something that logically must have existed prior.

2019-03-22 14:29:03 UTC

So God created the Universe. That I can agree and believe

2019-03-22 14:29:17 UTC

That puts us in an infinitely backwards timeline with no beginning

2019-03-22 14:29:28 UTC

But everything has a beginning
