An elected official in my state said "mansplaining"...

2018-12-29 01:08:00 UTC

My condolences.

2018-12-29 01:08:50 UTC

Well, she's 7 years younger than me so that explains a lot 🀣

2018-12-29 01:09:18 UTC

I'm seven years younger than her, and I feel embarrassed.

2018-12-29 01:09:36 UTC

And I'm not even from New York.

2018-12-29 01:10:11 UTC

@DrYuriMom can you educate me on the relationship between mercury and vaccines.
I don’t know the relationship of that. In regard to your post above.

2018-12-29 01:15:59 UTC

Oh, it relates back to thimerasol, a mercury-based preservative that was used in multi-dose vaccine vials many years ago. The amount of mercury was trace, but it is the only even loosely factual basis for being anti-vaccine.

2018-12-29 01:17:05 UTC

Gotcha. Makes sense.

2018-12-29 01:18:33 UTC

_Come to Tims discord and learn something new_

2018-12-29 01:19:05 UTC

thimerosal is ethylmercury, which your body can filter out. **m**ethylmercury is the kind that kills you

2018-12-29 01:19:05 UTC

So it was mercury based, not mercury itself

2018-12-29 01:19:46 UTC

methyl alcohol is the grain alcohol, correct?

2018-12-29 01:19:57 UTC

Mercury solutions

2018-12-29 01:20:06 UTC

not really? drinking alcohol is ethyl

2018-12-29 01:20:28 UTC

Science is hard.
Did you know that the same element in water can be found in cyanide?
Ergo, water is bad and should be avoided.

2018-12-29 01:20:55 UTC

Hence why I asked the corrolation why it's dangerous like methylmercury

2018-12-29 01:21:03 UTC
2018-12-29 01:21:08 UTC

methyl alcohol only occurs in moonshine or such by accident, and it kills you

2018-12-29 01:21:24 UTC

Which is why distilling is regulated

2018-12-29 01:23:05 UTC

yes, that scientist was working with dimethylmercury. killed her right through a rubber glove

2018-12-29 01:23:53 UTC

Absorption through the epidermis

2018-12-29 01:24:22 UTC

so you can understand people's concern.

2018-12-29 01:24:27 UTC

No.

2018-12-29 01:24:36 UTC

but ethylmercury doesn't do any of those things

2018-12-29 01:25:08 UTC

The ignorant minority made too much noise about "Muh mercury"

2018-12-29 01:25:11 UTC

If i owned a garden snake, and you try to use a black mamba as evidence as why i shouldn't have *my* snake, i also wouldn't understand your concern.

2018-12-29 01:27:17 UTC

The problem there is someone just cries SNAKE and doesn't listen to any further details.

2018-12-29 01:27:54 UTC

Just like people cry MERCURY.

2018-12-29 01:28:46 UTC

my quip about concern was unhelpful

2018-12-29 01:29:13 UTC

Its ok, i'm frequently unhelpful.

2018-12-29 01:31:01 UTC

illegal immigrant murdered officer who was a legal immigrant
chief blames sanctuary state laws

2018-12-29 04:26:15 UTC

@grant because its true. An illegal immigrant hit my uncle paralyzed and basically ruined his entire life he can barely walk or talk. Hes fucked. Guy got off on a DUI driving a 16 wheeler for 5k bail and left california

2018-12-29 04:26:31 UTC

Sanctuary laws afford more rights to non citizens than citizens get

2018-12-29 04:29:54 UTC

oh i agree. L.A. county sheriff chief said same thing.

2018-12-29 05:04:23 UTC

Sometimes i feel like the only solution is a return to old west style law.
Someone wrongs you, you take the law into your own hands.
