in short: Someone bombed the Office of the Eurosceptic/anti mass imigration Party AfD. in Döbeln, Saxony.

2019-01-04 11:53:53 UTC

for you Yanks: just pronounce it Dobeln

2019-01-04 11:57:20 UTC

```Investigators are looking into whether the attack was politically motivated.```
ähm, no, of course not. An attack on a Political party is NEVER EVER politically motivated....
2019-01-04 12:37:11 UTC
That would be the safe assumption, investigators.
2019-01-04 12:37:30 UTC
I mean, I suppose it's possible a complete madman made a bomb and chose that building entirely at random.
2019-01-04 12:48:07 UTC
"America has lost it's stomach for war"
Yeah? Attack a US carrier. Do it. Make it a surprise. We have a real good history of letting those go.
2019-01-04 13:00:28 UTC
With Trump in Office I wouldn't do that.
2019-01-04 13:00:49 UTC
He might be anti war, but only Wars that aren't against us. If China attacks first, its a different story
2019-01-04 14:25:41 UTC
I don't think China would win a nation v naton war
2019-01-04 14:25:59 UTC
we have weapons the world doesn't even know off for the rare occassions like this
2019-01-04 14:26:02 UTC
and I'm not talking nukes
2019-01-04 14:26:12 UTC
you know there's some classified horrors out there
2019-01-04 14:36:11 UTC
wouldn't be surprised if we had an kinetic energy weapon floating around in space.
2019-01-04 14:36:20 UTC
hell, Zuma might not have failed
2019-01-04 14:37:40 UTC
Tbh guys, they wouldn't even be able to sink a single carrier if they tried
2019-01-04 14:39:16 UTC
they could. they have enough foot soldiers to zerg rush the things.
2019-01-04 14:39:50 UTC
might not be worth sacrificing your whole military but they could sink and aircraft carrier.
2019-01-04 14:40:08 UTC
carriers are not known as the most durable of the war ships.
2019-01-04 14:44:22 UTC
missiles are the only possible weapon they could use to attack one, and carrier groups have plenty of ways to stop missile strikes
2019-01-04 14:46:35 UTC
Like sure, If they swarm a carrier group with their entire navy they may succeed, but realistically there is literally nothing they could do to surprise attack them, they would be well aware of their presence from over 200 miles away
2019-01-04 14:48:34 UTC
Carrier groups are suppose to just avoid conflict anyway, they would escape unless they used missiles as mentioned before, but the antimissile missile systems attached to the vast majority of vessels in a carrier group would keep damage to the most minimal amount
2019-01-04 14:49:08 UTC
Oh sorry. I ranted
2019-01-04 14:49:09 UTC
@pratel
Puerto Rico banned foam containers,I think, because people kept leaving them at beaches. Plastic bags too because of litter.
2019-01-04 14:49:48 UTC
Carrier groups kinda get me hot and bothered
2019-01-04 14:51:10 UTC
I was my dream for the longest time to be an engineer aboard a carrier, I heard that they are so big that they have bowling alleys on board some
2019-01-04 14:51:30 UTC
Could have been a lie but hey, sounds cool!
2019-01-04 15:08:36 UTC
Carriers are floating cities
2019-01-04 16:33:20 UTC
Dear germans, please stop killing each other before it crosses borders.
2019-01-04 18:13:30 UTC
i like how they call them far right despite admitting there was migrant gang attacks. like you could just say vigilantes patrol streets after recent gang attacks
2019-01-04 18:14:39 UTC
"Michael Cerny, mayor of Bavarian city Amberg, revealed groups from the far-right National Democratic Party (NPD) have taken to the streets after four migrants left 12 people aged 13 to 42 injured in a series of unprovoked assaults last weekend. NPD posted pictures of themselves patrolling the streets of Amberg in high-visibility vests, emblazoned with the slogan “Protection Zones”. They posted on Facebook: “When we say we will create protection zones in Amberg, we mean it.”"
2019-01-04 18:15:33 UTC
typical government, cracking down on people wanting to protect themselves after being let down by the government
2019-01-04 18:25:56 UTC
Yes, it's the same narrative, always.
2019-01-04 18:26:11 UTC
And whatever doesn't fit the narrative is awkwardly shoe-horned into it.
