I think the 2015 Godzilla was actually a good movie. It had a start, a good plot, and an end. But now they're riding off the success of it to make this jack-off of a sequel

Sure, but with the first movie, the threat was a few giant monsters. Okay. But now, things escalated straight to the entire world being brought to its knees out of nowhere.
Even if they pull off a moderately entertaining film with this, it's 100% action movie stereotype.
