See here is the other thing and probably most important. These platforms are only as big as they are because their known. There are already plenty of alternatives they are just not being utilized because people are still caught up on the same thing they have been using and are used to. It's all artificial, it's a prison we put our selves in.

MeWe is a good example of underutilized Facebook clone. By the way, I have no programming skills to help you out but could I offer a suggestion? Look over the history of how the left has diminished Twitter. the word play they use, the way they hide behind victimization and harassment and complain to the hosting providers to get their way. I think that by incorporating a firm stance on free speech with something called Mute Chain. When someone mutes an individual for harassment, all of their followers get a copy of the full conversation with options to also mute(block) ignore, ignore all from this followed and individual. This will give users more control over their sphere and could help deter the types of ban mobs from happening on your platform. If users have a complaint the solution is, just block them on your end. We don't support or condone anything, just provide a free speech platform. Its up to the user to control their own self censorship and not demand that its imposed. The ban chain can block mobs from harassing users and their friends/followers.
