I actually live not too far from there, like a half hour or so, and it's a shithole
When I was a kid, the landing was the place to be. Restaurants, concerts, arcades, shops, etc.

Most of the businesses there have closed up, Hooters has terrible service there
I went once with some other cops when we were in town to pick up new cars. We got the ugliest waitress they had, and she was wearing a sweater. Now she wasn't actually ugly even for a black girl, but she was not quality at all
Took forever to get our order etc
