It's less bias than the title implies.
I mean it has, it has become a partisan romping ground where we keep ineffective members in so the right letter gets to pick their replacement.

It still highlights a fundemental problem... to the CTRL-Left anything that doesn't get in lock step is bad (Facist, Imperialist, Insert here -Phobic, and so on) and illegitimate.
When a judge puts party before law they need to be replaced, but that is impossible to do without potential abuse
True. But when part of the population refuses to accept the authority of a ruling body because they don't rule how that segment wants them to... that is a fraturing of society at large
the supreme court serves the executive and legislative branches now, it no longer balances them except in cases where they conflict

@Khanclansith @The Yellow King if you read the article, it covers that the court, for the most part, has always been like this. And while the public might not agree with any particularly ruling (which let's face it, someone is always unhappy) so long as the recognize the authority then it doesn't matter if they think that power was gained "legitimately" or not.
Plus and article I posted here earlier was saying progressives need to start arguing using a more text focused approach to prove something conditional or not. So they still believe in the courts authority.
