If that woman would just declare parliament illegitimate and have them all arrested before they could do anything perhaps Britain would get somewhere

8CH isn't stopping it seems

2019-03-16 00:15:12 UTC

over here in the land of REE MY 2ND and safe spaces on campuses, I'm also done caring who wins the elections

2019-03-16 00:15:31 UTC

whoever it is is gonna be a corporate puppet if they aren't already

2019-03-16 00:16:06 UTC

and further empower a already grossly titanic federal government that imposes more and more by the year against the states rights

2019-03-16 00:17:35 UTC

best thing one can do in the states is make preparations for a situation in which we face internal collapse/civil war due to the bitter political situation and growing economic bomb that's edging to go off

2019-03-16 00:19:06 UTC

As for Britain? I don't know. Most of your island nation is very urbanized. There's not many places to go if the government gets too oppressive. And in terms of strategy, I guess you'd have to rely on the chaos of a government that no longer has the confidence of the people to do anything.

2019-03-16 00:19:15 UTC

Which...

2019-03-16 00:19:20 UTC

to be perfectly honest

2019-03-16 00:19:29 UTC

with how Theresa May has been handling Brexit

2019-03-16 00:19:49 UTC

she's failed so miserably that she's single handedly united just about the entirety of the UK against her and the government

2019-03-16 00:20:02 UTC

and that is a genuinely impressive fucking achievement

2019-03-16 00:21:13 UTC

It's much the same with Macron and France

2019-03-16 00:21:19 UTC

everyone hates Macron, everyone hates the government

2019-03-16 00:21:26 UTC

and they continue protesting to this very day

2019-03-16 00:23:43 UTC

For continental Europe? Certainly.

2019-03-16 00:24:51 UTC

It might spread to Germany with how things are over here with the Bavarians and migrant disagreements. There's a lotta hate for Merkel among the right there.

2019-03-16 00:25:19 UTC

Bavaria actually opposed secularists and made it law you have to keep Christian symbols in government buildings, can't be pressured into removing them.

2019-03-16 00:26:23 UTC

A light surface fleet for intercepting boats is all they really need. No carriers or cruisers. Destroyers probably the biggest they'd need.

2019-03-16 00:27:08 UTC

Being part Polish myself, and knowing a bit about them

2019-03-16 00:27:49 UTC

Poles were devoutly Catholic, dislike Jews, and generally have a very ethno mindset. They don't like outsiders much, so if you can't fit in you're gonna get the boot socially.

2019-03-16 00:28:16 UTC

Assimilation is everything to get along in a nation like that.

2019-03-16 00:28:31 UTC

So as a requirement, be a pre-Vatican II Catholic

2019-03-16 00:29:29 UTC

The Catholic Church changed a lot since the 50s

2019-03-16 00:29:44 UTC

In a lot of ways, negatively

2019-03-16 00:30:33 UTC

Does make me wonder how many people here remember Leon Degrelle

2019-03-16 00:31:13 UTC

Granted that's a Belgian fellow, but he represents a pretty accurate representation of a Catholic who got fed up with the state of affairs with his land and the Church's conduct in response to it.

2019-03-16 00:38:02 UTC

WE MUST REMOVE THE KEBAB

2019-03-16 00:38:25 UTC

If you run into some seriously devout Catholic Poles that'd be a issue 75 years ago.

2019-03-16 00:38:37 UTC

However, given the current state of affairs, maybe they'll give you a pass.

2019-03-16 00:39:14 UTC

I say that because not many Polish Catholics like the Pope and his positions these days.

2019-03-16 00:40:05 UTC

You best follow Christian traditions tho with the higher church teachings.

2019-03-16 00:40:19 UTC

That means sacraments, Lent, baptisms, etc so on and so forth.

2019-03-16 00:41:24 UTC

no that's because they're online shitposting about removing kebabs all day

2019-03-16 00:41:31 UTC

seriously, they're a memelord people

2019-03-16 00:43:15 UTC

be careful who you hang around with lest you become like them

2019-03-16 00:43:33 UTC

the general rule of how assimilation works right there, but also everyday life

2019-03-16 00:43:41 UTC

don't hang around shit people if you can help it

2019-03-16 00:47:17 UTC

As another note about Poland, them and Hungary, Austria, even Italy now I believe have formed their own coalition against the other side of the EU.

2019-03-16 00:47:31 UTC

So there's internal division within the EU parliament itself.
