Unironically, he was right about America. I mean, I get a lotta people wanna go on living their lives and fade into obscurity because that's the easier thing to do and appeals to our nature. But at somepoint you're going to have to grow up and realize we now live in a society that's self destructing. I may not agree with all his views precept by precept, but he's right. The left is gonna take Texas sooner or later, and when the right can't win elections anymore, and the left comes for the guns, it's either take up arms in Dixie or surrender.

Another fact about it, men have died in wars generation to generation, few gaps of peace in between. Why are we any different? We've spent too long in peace, it's weakened us a lot, we've liberalized to the point that we either eject it or fall into complete complacency. At that point, salvaging anything of culture/tradition/religion will become nigh impossible both on a local and national level. The Germans, the British, the French, the Italians, Russians, Austro-Hungarians all had the privilege of getting to die for their respective lands and peoples in a war to end all wars. A brief time later, again great war struck and shook the world. 75 years later now, we're in this situation, at the precipice of another great destabilization resulting in resumed armed conflict. All I can say, is if America balkanizes, God only knows what's gonna happen to our strategic weapons. Imagine a eco-fascist group acquiring a missile silo?

I dunno how many are a Christian lot in here but if this war is the one and America gets the jackboot, I bet a dollar end times events are gonna go into overdrive. Because if America collapses, there goes the main strength of the western block. Leaving only the eastern block with China and Russia to fill the gap.

China is in the midst of expansion influence wise, building bases, satelliting countries economically, encroaching in the pacific.

Russia is eyeing it's former territories from a century ago.

Ukraine is on the hit list, Belarus on the verge of being annexed willingly back into Russia.

If the United States goes down, Russia just got it's ticket for a sprint across east europe

As for the mideast? Israel just lost it's main backer, the islamic nations will close on it

train a next generation, get your kids to understand what's at stake

in other words

be a pillar of the community and family man

that's how you can help the right

pass down the torch, and convert who you can

that way, in the event this does boil over into armed conflict, at least you won't die alone nor be totally ostracized by everyone

you'll have family and friends to give you strength, and that's important

really off topic but it's amazing to think 2 centuries ago there was muskets and then there came bolt actions revolutionizing ground combat, and now there's fully automatic weapons that spend most their time making the other side keep their head down

there's another thing to consider actually

with how the military has evolved, we have far less men in divisions, far less need of mass charges and massive ground warfare campaigns

this is going to make occupation hard for the military

because if a lot of the populace is rowdy, protesting, and MPs are required to keep the peace

they're going to be spread thin

It's more common to see Brigade sized units than it is full divisions anymore
