Just so everyone knows that LOW CARB DIETS WILL KILL YOU story that's been floating around is based on a non-expiramental study taking place over 25 years where the subjects self-reported what their diets were only at the beginning of the study and 6 years into it meaning that we don't know how accurate their reporting on what they ate was, and that we only know what they were eating at the start and six years in.
I mean, low carb diets are meant to burn fat. Some people go over board with them and their body resorts to burning protein rather than fat. Also, resorting to high protein intake to fill in for the carbs has the same effect. Reason why rabbit starvation is a thing. It’s pretty shitty science if they don’t accurately suggest protein and fat intake in the study.
low carb is starvation, you can starve the fat out of yourself but you can go to far, 6 years of -500 carbs would probably be very dangerous
clearly your not intended to lose -500 carbs a day though
for 6 years
Best way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you intake. Easiest way to do that is change your diet.
