Lol. I got stress from 2016. But it's not because of Trump.
I got PTSD from winning too much. It all started November 2016.
the S in PTSD stands for Stress. Checkmates drumptards
stress is NOT PTSD
I know that.
on the other side, if i watched CNN and Colbert every day, i'd develop PTSD too
Hey guys, I'm a comedian. I'm here to make you laugh. We're all going to die and abortions are gonna be illegal. We'll literally be living in Handmaid's Tale within 3 years. Impeach drumpf.
*accepts award for best comedian*
Colbert is funny.
I remember the whole #CancelColbert because of racismsss.
ECHO CHAMBERS GOOD
TALKING WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE ***FUCKING NAZIS*** BAD
Nobody wants to grind self awareness xp anymore
Speaking of fake news.
Who is this lovely character.
I love it.
Absolutely love it.
isn't that the guy who was behind the Steven Universe edits tumblr?
Please do not click Vox links. Let them starve. If you have to read their clickbait garbage, please use archive.is:
<http://archive.is/9cX1P>
"I want people to hear the opposing side to see if it creates an opportunity for dialogue, how could I achieve this"
Should I:
Subject them to a bot that does nothing but re-tweet their opposition's talking points over and over again
Have them actually talk to a human
Thankfully I chose the bot and now we can see that talking to people who have different views radicalizes republicans
“Is Twitter capable of providing the context where people can deliver the intimate, interpersonal, positive contact needed for this?” He asked. The question answers itself.
The study did not test for this. They tried one method and it failed. But it is vox, and vox will spin it hard left.
Heres a more accurate statement: "Did repeatedly exposing people to the talking points of the other side make them more moderate?" The answer is no.
I swear I read an article once about Vox or Slate or Huffpo demonizing archive links specifically for the reason you mentioned
Vox NPCs?
@Cѳςmѳиαцt i wouldnt exactly blame them on that
sure
so far as that Vox article, i do think it has some sort of merit
even in chats like this i don't see a lot of people changing minds, i usually only see a little bit of development over internet when people VC as there is something disarming about actually seeing, or talking to another person
short form 300 character tweets only gives enough room to re enforce baises most of the time, there isn't a lot of room for sympathizing with someone, its very fight-club ish
It was 140 before
I go to vox for their milder stuff like the border series, really enjoyed their presentation of Hong Kong where I came from
Just skip the ezra Klein stuff
