Why?

2018-11-07 05:01:42 UTC

because honestly, it seems like both are just flavors of the same exact raw sewage

2018-11-07 05:01:44 UTC

The US was actually very polarized before WWII. It only really came together in the past decades. There was a left press and a right press. Enthusiasm was usually high.

2018-11-07 05:01:49 UTC

Centrists are an endangered species on both sides of the aisle

2018-11-07 05:01:54 UTC

2018-11-07 05:01:55 UTC

the only difference is the color and military spending

2018-11-07 05:01:59 UTC

The founding fathers warned against a 2 party system...

2018-11-07 05:01:59 UTC

What has changed is that the parties are more homogenous than back then and federalism is not as strong.

2018-11-07 05:01:59 UTC

I am rare

2018-11-07 05:02:31 UTC

The US can actually survive partisanship. But it needs to be able to function locally.

2018-11-07 05:02:33 UTC

Oh no

2018-11-07 05:02:35 UTC

Yes, a 2 party system seems to be causing a significant amount of problems.

2018-11-07 05:02:38 UTC

CA is coming in

2018-11-07 05:02:39 UTC

Clearly the answer is to impose a Catholic Theocratic Republic across America to restore order and the way to God

2018-11-07 05:02:43 UTC

Luckily, we seem to be moving to a 1 party system.

2018-11-07 05:02:44 UTC

Newsom is projected to win

2018-11-07 05:02:51 UTC

Oh, don't tease me, Red.

2018-11-07 05:02:59 UTC

Blue states staying blue in cali so far

2018-11-07 05:03:12 UTC

Again, if the Republicans would drop thier hate for GLBT I'd be open to them. But, alas...

2018-11-07 05:03:15 UTC

A pendulum perhaps?

2018-11-07 05:03:31 UTC

While I tend to run more conservative, I don't really agree with all of the Republican things...

2018-11-07 05:03:34 UTC

We've swapped the hatred for annoyed indifference.

2018-11-07 05:03:51 UTC

One party, bookworm? You mean the Republicrats?

2018-11-07 05:04:02 UTC

Who here would rather be ruled by the Pope than this government?

2018-11-07 05:04:11 UTC

what ive always said is that there really isn't much difference between a republican and a democrat just where they go to buy their votes from from the money they steal from the working mans pocket

2018-11-07 05:04:11 UTC

honest question

2018-11-07 05:04:12 UTC

Rorbacher race is literally 50/50

2018-11-07 05:04:13 UTC

lol

2018-11-07 05:04:19 UTC

I'm sure there are liberals who feel the same about democrats... If we got rid of parties, we could just vote for who we thought would best represent...but I don't see that happening - too much $$ in control

2018-11-07 05:04:22 UTC

If it was 2010, I'd jump on that boat, Red.

2018-11-07 05:04:27 UTC

But right now? No, absolutely not.

2018-11-07 05:04:29 UTC

@DrYuriMom go talk with your local politicians. You might be able to change some minds or be surprised. Local races can be very different from national races.

2018-11-07 05:04:35 UTC

Francis pisses you off?

2018-11-07 05:04:41 UTC

Is meditation a valid praying method under Christianity? Hmmm

2018-11-07 05:04:43 UTC

Heresy tends to ruffle my feathers, yes.

2018-11-07 05:04:56 UTC

Technically, prayer is a form of meditation

2018-11-07 05:04:58 UTC

@PD Yes, frustrations with parties is mounting on both sides.

2018-11-07 05:04:59 UTC

See, I can't see myself on either party's side. But I think the Dems are far more dangerous because they have the media attention

2018-11-07 05:05:01 UTC

Yes, we have a tradition of meditation stretching back centuries.

2018-11-07 05:05:07 UTC

@Rouqen It is if you focus it on Christ

2018-11-07 05:05:24 UTC

I am a non religious meditator
