Ie Europeans in Africa, and Africans in Europe
he's right
A culture in a cold climate is likely to develop differently than one in a warm climate. That does not imply that someone from the reverse culture, brought into the culture of the other ethnicity, would not be able to adopt the culture.
@Stefan Payne please expand on what you mean by comparison of Europe and Indochina
people as culture hit milestones
you can't predict culture changes
However, if a culture is strongly centered around hunting, and people with long legs were more likely to be successful hunters, then a culture with short people will probably not fare as well.
I don't understand how any of this is controversial, and I understand even less why anyone would get upset over it.
```@Stefan Payne please expand on what you mean by comparison of Europe and Indochina```
Both developed cultures and were pretty evenly matched. But in Indochina it developed more towards autoritarian/collectivism (the needs of the many outweight the needs of the few), while the west developed more towards individualism.
Oh, wow
Let's take another example.
So you can't really seperate Race and Culture because both are intertwined.
Slanted eyes!
There is a very good reason why Chinese have slanted eyes and why Europeans tend to have blue eyes.
@Undead Mockingbird that's not what controversial
@Undead Mockingbird you are operating under the premise that culture is set in stone and doesn't fluctuate quite rapidly over short periods of time. What you are describing is human behavior adaptations to environment. Quite distinct from how sociocultural behavior takes root
The reasons are simple and related to the sun light.
@Stefan Payne that didn't happen until the 1400s
The culture is because of the people that made the culture and the people the way they are because of culture. Chicken <-> Egg Problems.
@Stefan Payne what's your opinion on Japan btw? They embrace collectivism but are VERY individualistic too
The reason this whole thing got started was because Jasse was trying to convince us that Jew are to blame and the blacks are lesser people
^
@RadialDerp No, I never said it's set in stone. I just said there are REASONS why a culture is likely to develop one way or not the other.
Jesus, stop projecting onto everything I say, please!
@DanteMenace Population of Africa ~1800
90 Million.
IIRC France had half of that at the time.
Culture is HIGHLY flexible.
well.. most jews are to blame for the identity politics being played nowadays
And Africa is huuuuuge.....
@.B no they aren'y
there are AT LEAST
@DanteMenace see. interesting conversation started thanks to me.
aren't*
1 million people in the world
A water drop can flow a million different ways. A thunderstorm can form in a million different places. But that doesn't mean that all scenarios are equally likely.
@Stefan Payne So your point being that race innately predisposed people to being more open to certain types of political thinking? Do you not think that if the environmental factors and political influences were switched there might not be different outcomes?
This is not interesting in the slightest
You are more likely to have black skin in a sunny climate. A sunny climate might produce tendencies for certain cultures.
THat's as simple as it gets.
Fuck off @Jasse
@Undead Mockingbird I'm not trying to project. I'm merely attempting to point out that simplifying culture as based on decades of environmental factors and then relating that to race is a stupid argument
