5 years into 4 year school and I'm supposed to quit?
Okay, so get this degree
then go to trade school.
Takes 1.5 years to learn a trade
sometimes 6 months.
So I can get even more debt?
Depends on the trade.
Dude
Tech school costs like 5k
and is in super high demand.
A lot of trades sponsor your apprenticeship
I was offered like 5 scholarships straight out of high school ( a few of those were for being in foster care though.) I don't know about your state, but Tennessee loves tech school.
I can't think of a single trade, or career in general that interests me
Draw something out of a hat lol
I literally randomly chose hvac, knowing NOTHING about it.
I didn't even know the proper names for tools.
I the love the trade.
You honestly just have to take a stab at things to find what your passionate about. It's obviously not finance
Gt3 I told you I was in the same boat. 5 years into a conventional college and 30k in debt
Left and learned a trade. Manufacturing. Paid my debt in 2 years
Yeah I busted my ass and lived like a pauper but there was light at the end of the tunnel
There is no light at the end of my tunnel. Everything I do fucks me over somehow.
In five years I paid the debt, bought the house, bought my weekend car, a 911 and bought my daily driver a newer golf all cash. Only debt is my mortgage
Hard work pays off.
Bought and tinker with motorcycles during the winter in the garage. Keeps me sane
My hard work has never lead to any benefit to myself.
Work hard in the gym? No muscle gain
Another note, when I bought the house I was supposed to be happy. I wasn't. I felt like you do. Not suicidal but if it ended I'd be fine w it.
Work hard in school? Grades slip
So I got a dog
Dude I'm skinny too
Work hard at a sport? Get benched for other players
Lol, I'm on a steroid cycle
See profile image. Little Pomeranian who was a rescue. Bring her to the park and girls walk over to me. Sure they just wanna let the dog but it helps with experience
None of my hard work has ever paid off
Pet the dog*
@crustyoreo that's genius
That's why I've pretty much given up on everything
Why should I work hard in school if it'll never pay off?
Why should I bust my ass in the gym if I'll never make progress?
