My therapist played board games with me because I was expressing antisocial behavior.
I got out of it.
I was in like, 2nd or 4th grade. can't remember
Seek help.
It helped me.
Yeah, I got the board game treatment too.
Made me feel worse
Made me feel like there was something wrong with me.
How? I didn't even know why I was there.
I just went with the flow.
I knew my classmates weren't doing this too.
I was aware that what I was doing wasn't normal
I connected the dots after a few years.
I hear sometimes you just have to try different therapists. I'm sure your school has programs for counselling
I'm not seeing a therapist so that I can be put on a list and have my rights taken from me
I guess maybe I'm a low IQ individual, but who cares what other people think?
There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG with a child seeing a therapist.
Be thankful you had loving parents.
There's nothing wrong with a 40 year old man seeing a therapist.
Everyone has problems.
I fail to see how talking to some retard with a degree from UC Berkeley in a soft science is supposed to help.
Not all therapists are from Berkeley.
It's hyperbole
The ones here in Tennessee actually want to help people afaik
The point I was making was understood.
Talking it out helps in general a lot of times. Could be to a house plant even
Not really.
Sometimes you just have to run through your problems out loud or put them on paper to see them differently
I don't have anyone. The only person I felt comfortable sharing shit like this to is gone.
Talk to your parents man.
I don't feel comfortable talking to them.
Be like skin.
No.
It's uncomfortable.
Then you are willfully putting yourself in a woeful situation.
It will be hard at first but things get easier
Otherwise, if you don't go and seek help to people who do care about you, you will regret it when they are gone.
As explained before, putting myself in uncomfortable situations has never paid off
They're your parents
They gave birth to you.
Allowed you to become *alive*
