Found this out from my dad. He works as a worker’s compensation guy and talks with insurance companies often. Doctors in NC can only charge a small percentage of the original cost of the medical creams. Ex. If you take 2 $10 creams, and combine them, you can only charge like $30. In California, you can be charged like $3,000.
