Very late to the party, but its an important topic so ill give my input anyway

Theres a lot of disagreement about what constitutes a "successful" ideology, nation or economic system. My view is that it is ultimately decided by where people want to live.
Overtime people will move to where they think they can have a better chance at living a good life, regardless of if its within a nation or across borders.
In the US people are moving out of Illinois at an astonishing rate. I plan to leave aswell because I dont see a future here and it really sucks having to put up with the increased taxes that are sure to come to balance our deficit which is measured in the billions.

we haven't yet seen a nation with an ideology that leads to a high level of material prosperity for all its citizens, while yielding little or no personal freedom.

The realities associated with such a nation often clash with the theory of it
Living there for two years ironically shifted me somewhat right. I never realized communism was a real thing in the US. Chicago disabused me of my ignorance.

As far as other nations go im sure were aware of the countless efforts by people to flee various socialist nations
Ive discussed this time and again with communists and socialists and each time someoen shares a personnel story about their family leaving a socialist nation they get the same response(s)

"They shouldve given their property over willingly and then there wouldnt have been a problem"
Doesnt matter if the person in question was a soldier in the army of the nation, a moderately successful farmer, or a foreman at an industrial plant
It has led me to believe that if you give anyone enough rope they will hang themselves

Just add up the signatures on the rolls and compare to ballots. They should roughly match.
there's no way to know whether or not the ballots have not been replaced.
chain of custody has been abandoned.
observers have been denied the ability to oversee the counting.
Elections at this point require a level of trust and honorable behavior that we just...don't have anymore.
we do still have the necessary level of trust
a bunch of idiots in one state doesnt mean the whole nation distrusts democracy
