How about being put to death for being a victim and now allowed to drive.

2018-11-12 12:06:23 UTC

When some women wanted to drive, saudi arabia at least allowed it. In i believe iran most students in STEM fields are female, too by the way.

2018-11-12 12:06:48 UTC

As for being put to death for being a victim, thats not what anyone is put to death for.

2018-11-12 12:06:51 UTC

Im assuming

2018-11-12 12:07:15 UTC

you may be talking about the cases that are framed as "women killed for being raped"

2018-11-12 12:08:26 UTC

Well, no. thats not why they are killed. Adultery or other crimes is what they are killed for. Now, they may not see it as rape unless X, Y or Z, though if a woman rapes a man or a boy, thats never considered rape and he allways put to death if it comes out.

2018-11-12 12:08:40 UTC

There are multiple issues in this

2018-11-12 12:10:21 UTC

right, but her account of the story counts for nothing.

2018-11-12 12:10:31 UTC

meanwhile this guy and his 3 friends just go "yeah it happened"

2018-11-12 12:10:49 UTC

or "naw, it didn't happen"

2018-11-12 12:10:59 UTC

For one thing what is and isnt considered rape. For another, many of those strories involved the alleged victim of rape admitting to crimes which carry such a penalty not directly related to this crime. In the US there is immunity for revealing such things in the procedings of a rape case, there isnt. One case that was relativly big here was a girl admitting to having consentual sex with the guy before he raped her and thats what she was killed for, not the rape. And then there is the fact that the male often admits to rape cause hes going to be killed either way, adultery or rape doesnt matter but if they convince the court she may be spared

2018-11-12 12:46:11 UTC

And again, if a man or a boy is raped by a woman, hes allways going to be killed for that if it comes out

2018-11-12 13:09:50 UTC

And i dont believe at all that men rape more than women. I dont know but based on what i know...

2018-11-12 14:23:31 UTC

@Timcast Dan Crenshaw was part of the same military that faught the nazis. Of course the social jutice crowd wont like him.
"“The enfranchisement of women would insure immediate and durable white supremacy" - Anna Howard Shaw, suffragette
“What will we and our daughters suffer if these degraded black men are allowed to have the rights that would make them even worse than our Saxon fathers?” - Elizabeth Cady Stanton, suffragette
“The white men, reinforced by the educated white women, could ‘snow under’ the Negro vote in every State, and the white race would maintain its supremacy without corrupting or intimidating the Negroes.” - Laura Clay, you guessed it, suffragette
“White supremacy will be strengthened, not weakened, by women’s suffrage.” - Carrie Chapman Catt, do i have to continue to point out their alignment? ;)
“I do not want to see a negro man walk to the polls and vote on who should handle my tax money, while I myself cannot vote at all…When there is not enough religion in the pulpit to organize a crusade against sin; nor justice in the court house to promptly punish crime; nor manhood enough in the nation to put a sheltering arm about innocence and virtue—-if it needs lynching to protect woman’s dearest possession from the ravening human beasts—-then I say lynch, a thousand times a week if necessary.” - Rebecca Ann Latimer Felton, first woman to serve in the senate

We should write a server wide letter imploring Donald Trump to legalize weed

2018-11-12 14:45:57 UTC

Now that Jeff Sessions is out, and the Democrats control the House, he might actually be able to do it

2018-11-12 14:46:05 UTC

Donald Trump, the President who legalized weed

2018-11-12 14:46:49 UTC

he should save that for 60 days out from the 2020 election.

2018-11-12 14:46:51 UTC

The Dem House won't do anything useful.

2018-11-12 14:47:12 UTC

I can see him do that. And i cant wait for seeing the dems squirm and find ways to oppose weed

2018-11-12 14:47:13 UTC

actually good point on the timing

2018-11-12 14:47:32 UTC

to legalize weed you need congress, sorry.

2018-11-12 14:47:41 UTC

Trump doesn't need the House's permission to re-schedule marijuana.

2018-11-12 14:48:47 UTC

under the wording of the law, he can't until a bill amends the wording, he can't re-schedule it. I have been talking to pharmacists about this

2018-11-12 14:49:07 UTC

Ok. I thought that was entirely up to the DEA.

2018-11-12 14:49:44 UTC

Which is why he needs to do it

2018-11-12 14:50:05 UTC

He can bully some of the Republicans into supporting it in the Senate and the Dems are the ones who will hinge on it passing or not

2018-11-12 14:50:08 UTC

He can order the DEA not to enforce it then.

2018-11-12 14:50:10 UTC

and since they control the house....

2018-11-12 14:50:20 UTC

But that's not the same as legalization devpav

2018-11-12 14:50:26 UTC

Dems are not going to vote for anything introduced by Trump.

2018-11-12 14:50:37 UTC

That is exactly the point

2018-11-12 14:50:51 UTC

They've already proven that they're too insane to negotiate with Trump.

2018-11-12 14:51:02 UTC

one of the parts of the FDA(ct) was that there has to be a "Safe synthetic alternative," and if you follow the news, there are no good synthetic alternatives to Weed despite the best efforts of big Pharma, cartels and basement chemists

2018-11-12 14:51:40 UTC

So introduce a bill legalizing marajuana

2018-11-12 14:51:54 UTC

Does CBD oil count?

2018-11-12 14:51:58 UTC

Either the Dems shoot themselves in the foot, or Trump gets to parade around his bipartisanship

2018-11-12 14:52:04 UTC

win-win

2018-11-12 14:52:39 UTC

If you smoke the weed, you have the 🅱ig gay

2018-11-12 14:52:44 UTC

Trump already proffered a bipartisan DACA deal (which would've cost him his entire base if he was serious) and the Dems balked.
