One went to prison and then was let out when it was revealed it was untrue, one was nearly completely isolated but I vouched for him

And it was later 100% confirmed that the accuser was lying in the latter case

Yeah, I have only had one experience with this, but it involved an actual rapist, the victim never went to the police.
So the person got off Scott free, and then went on to become a trans gender sjw but never actually made amends or faced trial.
It made me sick once I found out the whole story, and then they confessed it to me. But by then it was beyond the statutes of limitation

I would say create a culture that places importance on filing complaints immediately, and treats the situation with the severity and respect it deserves. That doesn't mean witchhunt tho
