I do sometimes wonder if this isnt due to living in a modern society more than anything else

Theres been a lot of talk about not conforming to sterotypical guy or girl behaviors in the past decade

Perhaps people just think theyll be happier as the other gender because they wont be strange for liking things that are "outside of the norm" for their standard gender

girls get TOO mad when you ask them to make you a sandwich

Which is weird to say because im not sure there are that many activities/actions/lifestyle choices that are confined to one gender or the other

I swear half of them get mad as a self defense to the fact they can't cook

Since most girls my age can't cook

Ive got two friends who are currently going through the process and im doing my best not to treat them any different

I dont want to ask them all the questions that are on my mind because i know they get enough of that from everyone else in their lives

I had an aquaintence that went through the process, I just shrugged it off, she is an adult and entitiled to do what she wants, my opinion is she did it too fast after a bit uphevial in her life, I said as much when she started, but she didn't heed my advice, so *shrug* she can chose for herself.

Frankly I dont understand why people do it

Well, if you can get the mainstream media conglomerates on board with it, you can convince the majority of citizens to go along with it

Because we are capable of it, and it is easier to make it true then to fix the neurological issues.

I genuinely do no understand why this mental illness not only gets a pass but everyone other than the afflicted is required to partake in it
