no yeah a lot of it comes from just seeing more truth as we're more tech-savvy and see more alternative views
well the left losing support is very very obvious, they decided that it was better to have people support them because they need to rather then that they wanted to and you can see what has led to that
Like, a couple years ago, when I wasn't into politics in any way, I just went with whatever my mother said
it was only shortly after the 2016 election, when she kept complaining about how evil Trump is and how he was going to literally cause World War 3, that I started looking into politics
So the left's hyperbole totally backfired.
I think the big thing that showed a lot of gen z that the far left was full of shit was when popular youtubers started getting labeled nazis by the media
their such panicked push to wipe out conflicting opinions or media that could overtake them pulled up the curtain on the whole act
like I, and many other in my generation, are really into youtube. I watched both PewDiePie and JonTron and was immediately suspicious when the media started trying to label them nazis
so yes, basically their hyperbole shot themselves in the foot
the adpocalypse brought on by lying media was, i think, the first big wake-up call for many gen z'ers

in one class i happened to notice some kids crowded around a laptop watching the latest Steven Crowder "Change My Mind" video and found out those kids were pretty cool
one of the kids i sit with at lunch is further right than even i am
she believes in pizzagate and the child trafficking conspiracies
but she's also had some pretty good ideas
