Good take on yesterday and so
I never really expected SA to speak out on politics
about the SOTU
buzzfeed is assblasted about that picture
https://twitter.com/BuzzFeedNews/status/1093287723958394880 to which michael malice gave a great response
Link to that Michael Malice Response?
i pasted it but forgot to send lmao
My first response is "Chill guys it's a joke"
My second is "Ya'll got no sense of humor"
its sad that the woman suffrage group chose white as their color
shoulda use baby blue or something
now they're just missing their hoods lol
maybe baby pink
or is that sexual misconduct or sexism or sexist misconduct for that matter
cancer
this is not hate speech, it's just a cluster of ideas
climate change or not, we should still try to preserve the resources we have
^
Wow for once Pelosi is right
lmao
good cases have been made we arent ever going to run out of oil tho
or maybe some wackjob saidbthat id need to verify
I'm okay with innovation, but I won't trust people who outright said NO to all attempts to innovate and come up with safe nuclear power
eitherway saving resources is fine but huge difference between reasonable advancement that follows along with the state technology, the reality that cheap fuel/power increases economic mobility of the poorest citizens, vs the lunacy that is the green new deal
yep
a lot of the green politics stuff isnt environmental its more "i hate people with fancy cars/big houses" and attempts to burden those lifestyles but ends up fucking the poor
yep
the whole green movement has been too tied to marxist idealogy for awhile, it would be nice to see greens that werent
unless the sane democrats throw the far left from their party, it's not likely...
It's depressing because I feel like if I came into politics a decade or two earlier I would have supported Democrats more than Republicans, but their adoption of the far left and doubling down on far left policies after the election of Trump just makes them look repulsive
The election of Trump was a statement from the major populace that we do not like the far left's bullshit.
Their response, instead of rethinking their approach and trying to appeal to everyone this time around
was to just double the fuck down
and look how that's going for them
The median Dem voter is already far-left according to some polls.
