2018-07-14 01:58:53 UTC

2018-07-14 02:00:00 UTC

absolutely abhorrent

2018-07-14 02:03:25 UTC
2018-07-14 02:06:28 UTC

how do people unironically believe in communism?

2018-07-14 02:06:44 UTC

Communism isnt inherently bad, but the system requires competent/noncorrupt people in every level of administration in order to work effectively. Naturally, that is impossible because there's always people who are idiots/greedy. https://sofrep.com/70166/nazino-affair-russias-cannibal-island/ Poor planning resulted in cannibalism within 11 days of this island penal colony for political prisoners

2018-07-14 02:12:31 UTC

No, communism is totally inherently bad

2018-07-14 02:12:59 UTC

"Communism isnt inherently bad"
A system that doesn't work in any form of practice is pretty bad. The level of competence you are asking for is not attainable.

2018-07-14 02:13:00 UTC

An imperfect being can only create imperfect systems

2018-07-14 02:13:12 UTC

The only way it can continue is through subjugation of all dissenters

2018-07-14 02:13:23 UTC

Nobody out there, can be trusted with that much power

2018-07-14 02:14:18 UTC

Problem is, "inherently bad/good" is a very subjective statement

2018-07-14 02:14:40 UTC

Some people see it as a way to ensure everyone has a share of the bounties of the whole.

2018-07-14 02:14:55 UTC

Some see it as a way for the weak to leech of the strong

2018-07-14 02:15:21 UTC

Oddly, the first scenario has already been accomplished without communism

2018-07-14 02:15:22 UTC

Personally, I thought of the second statement first during the Thai riots.

2018-07-14 02:15:31 UTC

Funny how that works

2018-07-14 02:15:41 UTC

And now I think the same when I saw that vid on democrat states.

2018-07-14 02:16:10 UTC

Ensure everyone has a share of the bounties.

2018-07-14 02:16:31 UTC

Yes

2018-07-14 02:16:37 UTC

Yeah, people benefit from tech innovations

2018-07-14 02:16:37 UTC

Not an equal share, but a share

2018-07-14 02:16:55 UTC

The poorest in the US live better than the average in 3rd world countries.

2018-07-14 02:17:34 UTC

And to think, no American Gulag Archipelago yet

2018-07-14 02:18:10 UTC

Scratch that though, we need to advocate a system that calls for the violent redistribution of resources

2018-07-14 02:18:55 UTC

Exactly.

2018-07-14 02:19:01 UTC

If your own government employees defect and shittalk you it means you've done a good job :^)

2018-07-14 02:19:10 UTC

Also, the high concentration of power in the few

2018-07-14 02:19:49 UTC

The US hated that so much that they fought a bloody war, and created the constitution's most iconic line based on having firearms to prevent a tyrannical govt.
