The one that I would tend towards personally is equality under the law.

But that's not really a philosophical position itself.

Equality under the law has some weird practical questions attached, like does it include equally skilled representation in court?

Ultimately, it's funny, because there's so many definitions of equality and not everyone agrees, we'll never be happy.

The research I've seen says what people want is "fairness" which is very close to what Ginga Bomber is saying.

But it's not an entirely defined concept.

But it emerges at a very, very young age.

That seems like the most logical conclusion

Once everybody agrees on a standard definition for equality then we can move forwards with making it a reality
