pratel, BTC can be divided into as little as one Satoshi, which is one one-millionth of a bitcoin

2018-07-22 02:55:53 UTC

tell that to venazualla

2018-07-22 02:56:08 UTC

having alot of oil doesnt mean much if you dont use it or can sell it

2018-07-22 02:56:14 UTC

I refuse to go any further than a card tbh. This tap your phone shit seems like a disaster waiting to happen. Hell, RFID tech is already spoopy enough

2018-07-22 02:56:17 UTC

If BTC stabilizes at 10000 USD = 1 BTC, then 1 Satoshi = 1 Cent

2018-07-22 02:56:29 UTC

@Revan was unaware. Thanks.

2018-07-22 02:56:36 UTC

@pratel ugh. Bitcoin has satoshis and it can be divided. The problem it faces is with fees. Steem has no fees as it's delegated proof of stake or also know as proof of brain because you mine crypto with your brain

2018-07-22 02:56:51 UTC

So what? Well if things are so apocalyptic, money is the least of your concern. Doesn't matter if you have all your wealth if everyone around you lost everything and are raiding your house for your stuff.

2018-07-22 02:56:59 UTC

Btc is legacy tech already compared to steem dpos

2018-07-22 02:57:02 UTC

@missdanger agreed. I was trying to use it as an industry with alot of dollar value.

2018-07-22 02:57:27 UTC

@Grenade123 this is why I say community building is the most important prepwork

2018-07-22 02:57:38 UTC

Until bitcoin stabilized, it wont see wide commercial use. For god sake, TF2 hat economy is more stable

2018-07-22 02:57:45 UTC

@Beemann me too actually. Google already knows too much about me IMO.

2018-07-22 02:57:47 UTC

Having practical skills and neighbours who will watch your back > dosh

2018-07-22 02:57:52 UTC

^

2018-07-22 02:58:38 UTC

@Graylan | gray00 this is actually an interesting point. Bitcoin is the most prevalent crypto. But if you need to buy a better one every couple months, how do you know the ones that will retain value?

2018-07-22 02:58:55 UTC

I been blue balled on the APOCALPSE so many times by pol

2018-07-22 02:59:09 UTC

when its gonna happen ?!

2018-07-22 02:59:09 UTC

Doesn't even have to be for some apocalyptic ridiculous scenario. It's even useful for natural disasters beyond a certain severity

2018-07-22 02:59:18 UTC

@pratel with steem people have to power up steem to print steem so it's always going to be a demand for buying steem

2018-07-22 02:59:22 UTC

I don't own btc

2018-07-22 02:59:27 UTC

You think you can build a community that can generate it's own electric, collect water, grow enough food for everyone, and have defenses to protect it before shit goes down?

2018-07-22 02:59:35 UTC

sold my btc

2018-07-22 02:59:38 UTC

@missdanger I would expect a whimper, not a bang

2018-07-22 02:59:40 UTC

It's legacy like I said I have no use for proof of work

2018-07-22 02:59:43 UTC

Too slow n shit

2018-07-22 02:59:48 UTC

I don't want to play with speculation

2018-07-22 02:59:52 UTC

Steem or faster

2018-07-22 02:59:56 UTC

I don't think shit will go down instantly

2018-07-22 02:59:57 UTC

I don't want slow bullshit

2018-07-22 03:00:11 UTC

OK. How do you know steem won't be replaced?

2018-07-22 03:00:13 UTC

The world will see the Apocalypse months before it happens

2018-07-22 03:00:21 UTC

It's allright

2018-07-22 03:00:22 UTC

It could go down any moment.

2018-07-22 03:00:31 UTC

Nah, not possible

2018-07-22 03:00:31 UTC

Rome was not build or fall in a day, it rose and fell gradually over the course of centuries

2018-07-22 03:00:34 UTC

It could already be going down as we speak for all we know.

2018-07-22 03:00:35 UTC

Not really

2018-07-22 03:00:42 UTC

@pratel it is replacing itself with it's own tech

2018-07-22 03:00:55 UTC

@pratel depends on what you mean by going down
