I was saying to someone recently, Discord is an odd name for this website/app as it's more about fostering communities (I know that sounds cringey) than about sowing discord.

I always saw the name Discord as somewhat of a "cord cutting" analogy

Going back to the boring stuff I was saying before for a second! North Italy got rich because it could trade with the rest of Europe easier than the south due to obvious geography. North Brazil is poor because most folk there are African slave descent whereas the south are mainly European economic immigrant descent. So there will be some reason for the divide in India.
