"SEND THOSE GIRLS TO SCHOOL NOW A ***FEMINIST*** IS SAYING IT"
I wonder how many people they actually had in there... just to pick like.. 3 people to say "HA YOU'RE STEREOTYPING!!!"
@Sarah Jessica Farter if Brits were given a choice as to whether or not to fund the BBC, it would collapse
Why even try to rally for a change yourself, when you can engage in slacktivism, mob-harass people out of jobs and autistically screech from the very comfort of your couch with a cheescake?
Actually making a difference is hard work
And they ain't got no time for dat
technically you do have a choice on whether to pay the bbc
@Uksio millenials don't have time for work. Too much to be outraged about
Personally I'm not against publicly-funded media as a concept but the BBC's current bias is completely rotten.
You know, I should start writing a script about whether feminism needs to be reclaimed
you only pay it if you watch live broadcast tv
or recorded bbc shows
(unless its on netflix)
netflix has dr who and sherlock anyway...
@Sarah Jessica Farter If the people who are in charge of directing where the tax money goes to are corrupted, so will ever media company they're responsible for
Who cares Sherlock sucks
and Dr Who isn't as interesting anymore
The problem is that a lot of people like the wildlife documentaries for example that BBC creates so its actually still quite popular even though its news section is now Buzzfeed on steroids.
Fun fact: Sherlock didn't use deductive reasoning
SHERLOCK WAS TURNED INTO A FUCKING ACTION HERO
WHO
FUCKING
CARES
😀
@Uksio Doesn't he correct watson on that
this was promoted in my feed... what are they trying to tell me .. I have never seen a single episode 😛 https://twitter.com/BBCNews/status/1022507175820910593?s=20
I don't know. I haven't watched Sherlock nor am I familiar with the literature
There was a story where it starts out with Sherlock criticising watson for mislabeling hhis reasoning tactics
and watson gets angry
@wacka 😂 😂 😂 I saw that headline a day or two ago also! I didnt click on it though.
In fact the "idiot policemen" in Doyle's story actually use a flawed deduction all the time, and then Sherlock corrects them with his flawless induction from evidence
Sherlock repeatedly says in the series he wanted to write a textbook on his methods
The story is no worse with that mixup anyhow
Also it is a bit tired by now
Someone needs to write a continuation with new Sherlock story arcs
House MD is the closest we've got to sherlock
@Uksio Check out House of silk
