Like, are the imams are gonna go "Oh? You call yourself *feminist*? NO MORE CUTTING CLITS OFF PEOPLE"

2018-07-29 13:50:05 UTC

@Dan V Exactly. That part of it infuriates me.

2018-07-29 13:50:19 UTC

"SEND THOSE GIRLS TO SCHOOL NOW A ***FEMINIST*** IS SAYING IT"

2018-07-29 13:50:25 UTC

I wonder how many people they actually had in there... just to pick like.. 3 people to say "HA YOU'RE STEREOTYPING!!!"

2018-07-29 13:50:41 UTC

@Sarah Jessica Farter if Brits were given a choice as to whether or not to fund the BBC, it would collapse

2018-07-29 13:50:44 UTC

Why even try to rally for a change yourself, when you can engage in slacktivism, mob-harass people out of jobs and autistically screech from the very comfort of your couch with a cheescake?

2018-07-29 13:50:56 UTC

Actually making a difference is hard work

2018-07-29 13:51:05 UTC

And they ain't got no time for dat

2018-07-29 13:51:19 UTC

technically you do have a choice on whether to pay the bbc

2018-07-29 13:51:25 UTC

@Uksio millenials don't have time for work. Too much to be outraged about

2018-07-29 13:51:41 UTC

Personally I'm not against publicly-funded media as a concept but the BBC's current bias is completely rotten.

2018-07-29 13:51:43 UTC

You know, I should start writing a script about whether feminism needs to be reclaimed

2018-07-29 13:51:47 UTC

you only pay it if you watch live broadcast tv

2018-07-29 13:51:56 UTC

or recorded bbc shows

2018-07-29 13:52:03 UTC

@wacka I did not know that. Thanks!

2018-07-29 13:52:05 UTC

(unless its on netflix)

2018-07-29 13:52:30 UTC

netflix has dr who and sherlock anyway...

2018-07-29 13:52:50 UTC

@Sarah Jessica Farter If the people who are in charge of directing where the tax money goes to are corrupted, so will ever media company they're responsible for

2018-07-29 13:52:59 UTC

Who cares Sherlock sucks

2018-07-29 13:53:14 UTC

and Dr Who isn't as interesting anymore

2018-07-29 13:53:32 UTC

The problem is that a lot of people like the wildlife documentaries for example that BBC creates so its actually still quite popular even though its news section is now Buzzfeed on steroids.

2018-07-29 13:53:40 UTC

Fun fact: Sherlock didn't use deductive reasoning

2018-07-29 13:53:50 UTC

@Deleted User Dr Who is a wahmen now. It is defacto more interesting

2018-07-29 13:53:56 UTC

SHERLOCK WAS TURNED INTO A FUCKING ACTION HERO

2018-07-29 13:54:00 UTC

WHO

2018-07-29 13:54:02 UTC

FUCKING

2018-07-29 13:54:03 UTC

CARES

2018-07-29 13:54:23 UTC

@Uksio inductive reasoning?

2018-07-29 13:54:32 UTC

@Dan V correct

2018-07-29 13:54:49 UTC

😀

2018-07-29 13:54:55 UTC

@Uksio Doesn't he correct watson on that

2018-07-29 13:55:10 UTC

this was promoted in my feed... what are they trying to tell me .. I have never seen a single episode 😛 https://twitter.com/BBCNews/status/1022507175820910593?s=20

2018-07-29 13:55:26 UTC

I don't know. I haven't watched Sherlock nor am I familiar with the literature

2018-07-29 13:55:45 UTC

There was a story where it starts out with Sherlock criticising watson for mislabeling hhis reasoning tactics

2018-07-29 13:55:52 UTC

and watson gets angry

2018-07-29 13:56:02 UTC

@wacka 😂 😂 😂 I saw that headline a day or two ago also! I didnt click on it though.

2018-07-29 13:56:08 UTC

In fact the "idiot policemen" in Doyle's story actually use a flawed deduction all the time, and then Sherlock corrects them with his flawless induction from evidence

2018-07-29 13:56:56 UTC

Sherlock repeatedly says in the series he wanted to write a textbook on his methods

2018-07-29 13:57:03 UTC

The story is no worse with that mixup anyhow

2018-07-29 13:57:10 UTC

Also it is a bit tired by now

2018-07-29 13:57:29 UTC

Someone needs to write a continuation with new Sherlock story arcs
