I'd say there would need to be open armed revolt against the sitting government to be a war. Which there isn't really. There is civil unrest but they still use the established systems to try and get their parties into office.

I doubt there will be an actual civil war unless the left got into power and started getting tyrannical in a hurry. Right now the side who wants guns is also the side mostly aligned with the sitting government. Which means either the opposition needs to abandoned their position of disarming citizens to start a civil war, or those who do use arms are a fringe minority, even if they are not disowned.

So the picture Tim had in one of his videos of the shell in the helmet is fake.

When the main supporters of the Democratic party become a literal army, then you have a civil war. Or if the government attempts to crack down on the right.

If they ever ban all guns, we shall see how willing the people are to overthrow the government

The Portland police asked whoever posted the picture of the helmet with the projectile in it to bring it by so that they can examine it meaning they suspect it to be fake

What if the left is attacking people trying to support something they don't like? Is that something we should take into account? What about when the left calls for Nazis to be punched and everyone is a nazi are these open incitement of war?
