But that's not really changing anything.
I'm serious. Do you know who is on your local school board?
No looking it up.
Oh sure, like it seemed really hippie libertarian when I looked at it
But the idea is sound
If you don't, there's the first problem.
Four major things I think will make schools better....
- Offer After-school Clubs
- Create More Hands On Classes
- Intern Students To Utilize What They are Taught
- Cut out teachers doing political and religious dogma.
The 1st 3 are already being done in places.
The last one actually runs into 1st amendment issues.
hokago tea time will make schools better
>pick an area to move into
>form a voting block along certain ideological principles
>slowly push the area into the desired direction
I'd say the bigger issue is that the right usually plays silent and doesn't organize well.
Like SJW tactics but to return things back to normal
But but what about gender diversity classes ?
Hmm... something needs to be done. Teachers pushing dogma on our students, yet ignoring the teaching material is becoming a problem.
schools are nothing more than daycare's
Agree, but it's not an easy problem to fix.
I've been thinking about it for a long time.
And there's multiple groups formed to try and institute reforms.
Kids need to be taught how to get a job amd manage money not muh diversity history
Pardon my language. Fuck gender and racial diversity classes! That is only dividing our students and placing barriers for them to come together as one.
the first problem to fix is that you start with out of touch politicians arbitrarily deciding what should be taught and how without consulting anyone
@Dusty Morgan agree
Those classes only teaches you that we are different and we must treat each other differently.
I don't know that I agree with the idea that schools should be job training centers only
Specific courses aside
It's what happens in Europe, actually.
By HS students are already specializing.
Undergrad is 3 years and strict specialized Training.
Post Grad is often restricted to 3 years.
I am done with letting people infiltrate our schools, ignore the teaching material, dumbing down our students and pushing dogma on them.
Very fast, very minimal and very specialized.
I think neglecting historical and cultural education will have detrimental effects in the long run
It will.
history is written by the victors
So many students today don't even know their history... fail at economics... and develop crippling depression because they are socially inept.
@Dusty Morgan only solution is to home school your kid
But it's also how this stuff has moved into it's position.
Socialization is a problem for home schooled kids
@Rabbi Shekels and not even that's a solution.
Not insurmountable
