Well I need advice on something

I'm enlisted in the United States Navy and I ship out soon. Still in DEP. But I have this girlfriend. She and I talked about trying to make it work long distance until one day she told me she doesn't know if she could wait for me but she would do her best. We spoke and she always tells me why not drop out of DEP. Go to trade. Start a family with her. I want to do my military career. I've been looking forward to enlisting since I was a kid. But I love this girl. I guess I'm trying to ask. Should I choose her over the military?

I've been the only guy shes been with though. I was her first in everything. Shes nice. Shes traditional, mostly.
