I got another question.... if the first living organisms (archaebacteria) were created magically from none other than a combination of elements, then how come when we try to do the same today, we simply cannot re-create life in the same way?? If humans evolved from apes, and apes presumably shared various environments with hundreds of thousands of other species, than what specifically in that shared environment selected for apes to grow intellectually superior brains? Like if big brains were so advantageous, why dont we see that similar kind of vast cognitive ability in at least one other species? There are just so many holes in evolution than can only be explained by God. Dont be fooled. After being exposed to over 5 years of advanced science courses, I can assure you that science does not explain everything.

@Kyle I can relate. I've experienced so much school related stress ranging from being socially outcasted, mentally overworked with countless all-nighters, low self esteem, debilitating stress, etc. It got so hot I actually dropped out one year. But in the end, I endured and will be graduating this year with all A's in AP and honors. My point is that, looking back, if it weren't for those hardships I wouldnt be the person I am today and I especially wouldn't have the relationship I have with God I do now either. Just know that whatever troubles you is shaping your future, it is for a reason.... everything is.

You have a point in that yes talking about lgbtq would cause division, but at the same time, what is the point of a church if it fails to inform people of sin? Like for example, the lack of digging past the uncomfortability of discussing sex is a major area churches fail especially among adolescents. I never really liked Catholicism as an institution. It is clearly a corrupted institution today and throughout history. It made up lies (such as Purgatory) to take people's money and build the Pope a castle. Not to mention their primary motive was power for many centuries. @MofoDoggo Depends on how long each chapter is and how long you want your book to be... Typical novels have chapters ranging from 3,000-5,000 words. If you're aiming for the typical length if a novel (70,000-80,000) then I'd imagine you would have around 25-30 chapters. Keep in mind, theres nothing wrong with shorter chapters, but very long chapters can be problematic: people like to have breaks, and may lose interest if the chapter seems to go on forever.

If your material stays gripping enough, people wont lose interest no matter how many chapters there are in the ned.

Yeah... and especially dont drown the reader in exposition and backstory right at the beginning. Why I can never get past the first chapter with a lot of his books

Personally, I mustered the energy to read the first few lines and then lost it, my eyes started to wander. I guess I just dont like being introduced to a setting in this way, where the narrator is depicting what's going on. I like a more personal, action-filled, paint the picture as you go kind of approach. Like for example, maybe one of the peasants steps out of line like trips or something and one of the soldiers treats him ruthlessly. Show dont tell you know.
