Communism will never succeed nor will it see any tremendous success. Why? Because It relies on the state, enforcing a fixed economy and destroying any dynamic aspects it had, and hypocrisy. It relies on the state to control and manage the economy, while, at the same time, they wish to eventually abolish the state to achieve anarcho-communism, which is the general goal of most communists. As long as the state controls the economy, the state will always be relavent, and high stage communism will never be achieved. Ever. Furthermore, it relies on the planned economy. The planned economy eliminates the necessity of a dynamic economy, for that of a fixed economy. Fixed economies are easily broken, dynamic economies always fluctuate, but are almost impossible to bring down unless an outside power causes it, or if gradually forces itself to stagnate, both of which, rarely happen. Lastly, many communists are hypocrites. They blame the upper class for all of their suffering, and constantly preach about their economic liberty, yet are willing to sacrifice their individuality in return for it. If you are willing to sacrifice your freedom for security, then you deserve neither, as Abraham Lincoln would say. Same goes for your individual freedom for economic freedom.
