Aristotle proved it's cured smh
curved*
loosing their composure upon being proved wrong
they're just naturally ignorant
@Soldz (CF) if you're doing this to avoid attention, don't do anything. then you don't get any attention.
*i dont do this for attention, the opposite actually*
she*
^
the nonchalant "OHHHH NOOO SHUSHHH" reaction to bring more attention
im saying. lets say you get your crush exposed, if you dont wanna bring attention to it will you say:
1. OHHH NOO SHHHHH HE/SHE CANT NO very loud
2. say nothing and deny it normally
@Soldz (CF) how you said you don't do stuff for attention but bring attention to things that you don't want attention brought to.
im very stubborn
regardless.
@โกโกcute but psychoโกโก not really. that's just questioning flat earthers.
fake flat earthers are here for it, however.
and you believe in flat earth?
oh dear
@Soldz (CF) what interests you in astronomy?
what do you mean? you said you're highly interested into it, why not talk about what in it interests you?
was what you said just not true?
@Soldz (CF) you said you're highly interested in astronomy. what about it interests you? what do you study?
studying dosen't mean school
studying is just gathering knowledge on a subject.
okay, soldz.
*globe emoji*
look in civil debate
*the flat earth community has members all around the **globe***
@Citizen Z is there any actual proof of god besides the human belief and imagination?
im agnostic.
@walkefr we're presented evidence that the earth is indeed not flat. How have flat earthers denied it? they disagreed, that's it.
the flat earth community is disliked because the ignorant side of the community is represented in media most often creating a slandered view on every single flat earther.
i'd love to hear why you think the earth is flat and i'll talk about it
oh dear.
where should we start? can you explain how atmospheric refraction and how ships disappear across the horizon?
well for visual evidence you can view the several videos and images takin in high orbit
you can view it yourself
okay
https://newscdn.weigelbroadcasting.com/hT0tL-1494894006-10857-blog-7602503_G.jpg mirage created by atmospheric refraction of chicago
okay, then why is chicago transparent and appearing like that?
atmospheric refreaction is proven.
atmospheric refraction is the deviation of light due to atmospheric conditions such as air density as a function of height. if you understand this, it is very understandable how chicago would be elevated at our perspective due to the light deviation
assume the sun is the city and it works just well
i just did.
look at both images.
๐
is chicago naturally tinted the same color as the sky?
woah do you notice how it's under the horizon? that also disproves flat earth
they're tinted. that means they are not solid objects blocking the light behind it from coming through
60
iirc
that's due to the camera
if we view it in person it's not going to be pixilated.
is that an image of the ocean or the moutains behind it?
or is that again just another example of refraction
*appears flat*
the earth does appear flat.
you can see refraction in person.
really?
have you went to the exact locations at the same weather and proved that?
what is it then
why are they below the horizon?
what
dosent optical slant rely only on what the observers perspective is
@Citizen Z because he presented an opinion or argument does not mean he's trolling btw
if hes wrong prove him wrong.
also if the earth is flat. how come we can only view certain stars at certain latitudes?
why can't we see some islands at the very top of moutains either, probably because the atmosphere blocks the light?
i dont really know lmao
also why do sunsets and sunrises happen at different times at different latitudes and longitudes?
yes
also how do seasons work on a flat earth?
along with day and night
such as
i actually don't think the earth is round lmao
it's an oblate spheriod
it's essentially just round earth. but water at the poles is stretched because of rotation iirc
lemme check
it's very small
it's 13 miles at the equator
I mean with an image of the earth and some math you could calculate it
it makes sense to me.
the several found on google if you google earth
anyway if you take something and spin it it becomes stretched right?
the centrifugal force stretches it slightly.
that's a liquid
if you get a mushy sphere, fix it to something that spins it from the middle, and make sure it dosent fall off, it will stretch and flatten at it's poles, try it.
yes. it's alledgly spinning at 1000mph and it's been spinning for billions of years alledgy.
gravity
gravitons
electromagnetic forces
yeah probably
but gravity is shown on any other body in space.
No
@CanWab gravity is a very small pull force.
it's probably the weakest force ever.
yes a pull force.
that's what a pull force is
