Another Cold War. A war of ideology

2020-06-17 06:35:06 UTC

Who will win: Winnie the Pooh or multiple telephone/email scammers

2020-06-17 07:57:21 UTC

Welcome to the new normal

2020-06-17 12:54:03 UTC

Ww3 2.0

2020-06-17 13:52:50 UTC

The tech support versus the tech builder

2020-06-17 14:07:38 UTC

So China versus India is kind of an interesting little conundrum

2020-06-17 14:08:26 UTC

China is trying to use Pakistan and Sri Lanka to isolate and control India allowing them to have naval ships station to prevent the Indian Navy from interceding and preventing China trade with the Europe which India is in a perfect place to intercede

2020-06-17 14:09:48 UTC

China is using their belt and Road initiative as a back door barely cover way of getting overseas bases

2020-06-17 14:10:16 UTC

The scary thing is is that a China versus India fight is a lot fairer than most people realize

2020-06-17 14:10:43 UTC

billions vs billions

2020-06-17 14:10:48 UTC

The Indian troops have vastly more combat experience in the near-term and have better air power

2020-06-17 14:19:35 UTC

India spends more on their infantry troops per capita than China, and considering the PLA's last land war was against Vietnam where they got their asses handed to them

2020-06-17 14:20:11 UTC

I would actually say the advantage tactics wise and Equipment wise would definitely fall on India's side here the only question would be would China be able to project Naval power to isolate and contain India and I don't think they would be able to

Me and the boys going to war.

2020-06-17 17:14:18 UTC

Oh dang

2020-06-17 17:31:01 UTC

@Downskated I doubt china could, the US or UN might intervene...but alas I'm not sure how Trump would react to a foreign conflict that hasn't involved the US, and with the UN having a track record of ineffectiveness... Im not sure lmao, I just hope the US doesn't go barging in like some world police, especially unprovoked

2020-06-17 17:32:24 UTC

It would be interesting to see Russian response

2020-06-17 17:32:37 UTC

America is not an ally of China nor India.

2020-06-17 17:32:52 UTC

But china and india are allies of russia...

2020-06-17 17:50:53 UTC

I think russia might be neutral

2020-06-17 17:50:58 UTC

Idk

2020-06-17 17:51:20 UTC

Both countries operate a lotta russian stuff

2020-06-17 17:51:39 UTC

But it might also depend on who attacks first

2020-06-17 18:16:54 UTC

Russia would be more willing to side with China, given their history.

2020-06-17 18:19:58 UTC

Idk man

2020-06-17 18:20:18 UTC

Lets hope a war doesn't happen it wont end well

2020-06-17 18:23:04 UTC

Mhm.

2020-06-17 23:24:13 UTC

Any opinions on North Korea redeploying troops on the border

2020-06-17 23:25:20 UTC

Too much escalation over some activists sending some leaflets into the north

2020-06-17 23:26:03 UTC

Heard about how they bombed that office building that was supposed to help in reunification talks?

2020-06-17 23:37:43 UTC

@samwangemann North Korea is just saber-rattling for concessions like they have done for the last 20 years

2020-06-17 23:38:13 UTC

It's a cycle they saber rattle then ease tensions to get concessions

2020-06-17 23:38:26 UTC

Alright, I frankly only see the headlines so I wanted to get a gauge of the seriousness of it

2020-06-17 23:38:35 UTC

Make promises that they never really followed through on

2020-06-18 05:20:46 UTC

China is making moves. Thst is why N Korea is putting troops there. China wants to expand their territory... It is happening.

2020-06-18 05:25:05 UTC

We will see!

2020-06-18 05:26:25 UTC

I think it would be the first time 2 nuclear countries go to war.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

2020-06-18 09:48:17 UTC

In the time of the cold war, my grampa always laughed about it a bit...he always said: "Don't mind the reds....they won't make a move...beware of the yellow danger lurking behind them....I won't see it happen, but you will son, before you are my age."

2020-06-18 11:31:56 UTC

Holy shit he predicted the future lmao

2020-06-18 16:29:23 UTC

nothing to fear tho, chinese military only looks strong when they face unarmed hong-kong protesters, historically speaking chineses cant fight

2020-06-18 16:32:04 UTC

seeing that the chinese military hasn't been in a significant conflict for quite some time, they lack both experience and proper training.

2020-06-18 17:12:47 UTC

According to the left, imperialism is only bad when white people do it.

2020-06-18 17:13:01 UTC

Guys we shouldnt underestimate the chinese

2020-06-18 17:17:03 UTC

Right

2020-06-18 17:17:26 UTC

They have been stealing tech from us for a long time. I bet they would be a hard one to beat

2020-06-18 17:18:22 UTC

Yeah

2020-06-18 17:19:00 UTC

Their soldiers are also very very much disciplined

2020-06-18 17:31:18 UTC

Yes

2020-06-18 17:31:30 UTC

But it is possible to track their stealth fighters

2020-06-18 17:31:41 UTC

An Su-30 detected in on radar

2020-06-18 17:31:51 UTC

Yes thats the good thing

2020-06-18 17:32:05 UTC

I think even their J-20 can be tracked

2020-06-18 17:32:17 UTC

Yes it already happened

2020-06-18 17:32:22 UTC

I said just now

2020-06-18 17:32:23 UTC

Nice

2020-06-18 17:32:27 UTC

Oh

2020-06-18 17:32:32 UTC

Lmao didnt notice

2020-06-18 17:32:35 UTC

The indians tracked it with an Su-30

2020-06-18 17:32:43 UTC

On radar as well lmao

2020-06-18 17:33:03 UTC

And the j 20 was supposed to be in stealth mode

2020-06-18 17:33:03 UTC

Ahh now i get it. I misunderstood your sentence

2020-06-18 17:33:06 UTC

Lmao

2020-06-18 17:33:22 UTC

Yeah i get it now by their stealth fighters u meant the j-20

2020-06-18 17:33:41 UTC

Yes

2020-06-18 17:34:12 UTC

I think an F-35 and F22 can also outclass J 20 in a dogfight

2020-06-18 17:34:16 UTC

And in BVR

2020-06-18 17:34:35 UTC

Ofcourse it will

2020-06-18 17:34:50 UTC

The j-20's front kinda looks like that of an f-35

2020-06-18 17:34:53 UTC

I think some 4+ and 4++ gen fighters as well like Su 35 and Su 30MKI/SM

2020-06-18 17:35:23 UTC

J 20 looks more like MiG 1.44@OffensiveTaco

2020-06-18 17:35:28 UTC

And F 22

2020-06-18 17:35:35 UTC

The J 31 looks like F 35

2020-06-18 17:36:47 UTC

Yeah but doesnt the front kinda resemble the f-35?

2020-06-18 17:36:54 UTC

Like the canopy atleast? xD

2020-06-18 17:36:57 UTC

Actually kinda

2020-06-18 17:37:07 UTC

Canopy resembles that of f22

2020-06-18 17:37:16 UTC

Overall looks like MiG 1.44

2020-06-18 17:37:22 UTC

Oh wait yeah

2020-06-18 17:37:48 UTC

Yes the overall does look like a mig 1.44

2020-06-18 17:38:11 UTC

China is pretty good at copying everything ngl

2020-06-18 17:38:15 UTC

True

2020-06-18 17:39:09 UTC

Lets switch to aviation channel since we talking about planes now

2020-06-18 17:40:24 UTC

Lmao

2020-06-18 17:40:35 UTC

Kinda relevant with ww3 tho

2020-06-18 18:26:37 UTC

Training and and strategy are all good, but you can't underestimate someone motivated for their fight, someone who knows their land, and their sheer number of manpower and pieces of equipment.

Look at Germany vs Russia in wwii. Germany had them simply outclassed in most tech depts, they had the world outclassed in battle tactics, and they threw battle hardened and extremely well trained troops into it.

At the onset of the engagement, most of the Russian soldiers were conscripts, heavily underequipped, they lacked communication via radio in all but the command structure, and their equipment they did have was not really a match for the germans. The t-34s were known for build flaws like holes in between plates of armor big enough to fit your arm through. But it was good enough. That and they had a near limitless number of men and once production ramped up, a near limitless supply of tanks and other equipment, that the superior force couldn't keep up.

2020-06-18 18:33:55 UTC

Exactly

2020-06-18 18:34:29 UTC

Same with Vietnam: the US had a much better military, but lost because the Vietcong had more willpower.

2020-06-18 18:35:37 UTC

And WW2 in the Pacific. In 1941, Japan had a better Navy than US, but US had better production after Pearl Harbor and the will to win.

2020-06-18 19:17:36 UTC

No i believe japan had plenty of willpower if every one of their soldiers was willing to die rather then live to see their positions captured, same can be said with the local civilians

2020-06-18 19:31:49 UTC

Yes but allies had even more will to win

2020-06-18 19:32:11 UTC

Thats why they make nuke

2020-06-18 23:45:54 UTC

Maybe we can outclass them with shit tons of CM901s

2020-06-20 18:23:03 UTC

And when the US is plunged into civil war, this is when theyโ€™ll strike.
