some of the best masks that are being worn commonly right now dont even filter out corona, so the common mask (little ear loop bullshits and cloth masks) are going to do less than nothing, I just have a little neck gaitor i used to wear to reduce the amount of dust and dirt i was breathing in at the scrap yard. i havent been told i cant do that yet, so im happy. protects just the same so i dont have to spend money on something that wont help. plus i can wash the neckgaitors too,

also it gets irritating wearing a mask after awhile imo you cant breathe in those things

*delurks* The easiest example of how masks work is through physics. Take a spray bottle, your hand, and a piece of paper. Hold the bottle against your hand, with the paper two feet away. That's you wearing a mask.

i agree. i wear glasses, so not only is it unpleasant, but every time i breath my glasses fog up and i cant fucking see anything.

thats what they did back then when other pandemics were around they quarantined the vulnerable people and let the healthy ones out
