Has anyone been investigating the reasons behind so many different locations shutting down the voter count in the early morning hours. I have never seen that happen in any prior election over the past 40 years.
@ImNotGas don't you believe that there are any honest journalist left in the country who would want to get to the bottom of it? We have some good conservative voices who have investigative journalists.
@TaLoN132 Every news service that I looked at on election night said that several of these swing states announced that they were suspending the counting of votes.
I am talking about the pause that happened around 2am eastern time on election night
So were the new agencies not informed correctly about what was happening at the tabulation centers?
OAN, Newsmax, Fox, ABC that I remember ... could have been others too
If you add to it the fact that the numbers from these swing states didn't change for a few hours and then all of a sudden some big numbers were posted it adds credibility to the reports from the news agencies that the counting/reporting was suspended
Could it be that it was a ruse (sp?) to get the republican observers out of the tabulation centers so that they could no longer observe?
I watched that one today as well and can't understand what those records mean that he showed. If I understand what he showed today then it certainly looks like Wayne County Michigan was doing something wrong.
I am not aware of IDs being used for any mail-in ballot voting. How does that work? Do they put a photo copy of their DL in the envelope?
Yes, for absentee ballots you have to be a registered voter to request an absentee ballot but what does that have to do with IDs?
Also, absentee ballots are different than mail-in ballots, especially unsolicited mail-in ballots
If the voter roles were properly kept up to date then that might be a good idea but all states across the union are completely incompetent in keeping up to date voter roles
I agree with you that it is possible to come up with a decent mail-in voting process but we don't have one in any state currently
I used to live in CA and when I moved out of the state they continued to send a mail-in ballot to my old address for several years
correction, not mail-in ballots but absentee ballots which has been in CA for a long long time.
How is the state of CA keeping track of all registered voters and ensuring that they only send the mail-in ballots to legitimate voters?
It would be really interesting to see an independent audit of the voter rolls in CA as well as many other states
faith and trust are earned, not just granted. Our constitutional republic depends on a system with proper checks and balances. The federal governments needs to enforce that states have current and accurate valid voter rolls?
"may" not "Shall"
@Whithers ๐
even if you said "Shall" I would no longer expect that the govt will do it
