Gaijin go home.
:p
I mean... you can if you have genetic heritage.
This is true.
Lol I literally had this conversation with my boss today.
I mean social privileges like that only works in a tight knit society.
Advantages of being on an island and never being officially conquered by a foreign power.
Which has the disadvantages of erasing some of the non-mainstream indigenous cultures... like the Ainu.
True. However I feel that for the sake of history, it is the moral obligation of a dominate culture to preserve and archive the cultures they assimilate.
And that's what makes those instances where thing do survive, ever more precious.
Like when the Taliban bombard Buddhist carvings off the side of a mountain. Tragedy for the world.
Well I mentioned the Ainu.
And the assimilation of the Ryukyu islands...
And the Ainu is a northern Japanese ethnic group.
Often considered the "white Asians."
They have a closer genetic lineage to Russians than to the traditional Japanese social body.
Really fascinating outlier in the field of human genetics.
I believe Michio Kaku did an interview where they briefly touch on the topic of the Ainu.
From Wikipedia, "The official number of the Ainu is 25,000, but unofficially is estimated at 200,000 due to many Ainu having been completely assimilated into Japanese society and, as a result, having no knowledge of their ancestry."
Considering the Japanese part of my family is from Hokkaido, it was just something I stumbled upon while looking into my family history.
Anyway this got a little too real for a meme channel.
So...
My boss seems to think so... but he's from Osaka... and it is really hard to find a place in the world that rivals Osaka.
Good food.
@Timcast Googling Colorism no longer gives you pages on the 20th Century art style characterized by the intense use of color...
Donnelly is losing right now in Indiana. That's one Democratic incumbent that might not make it back to Washington
