Though, there is a marked difference betwixt Duke Nukem's expectations & HL3.
they've spent probably 4 years working on alyx, and most of that was testing mechanics
they've apparently decided they want to make more games beyond this as well
Duke Nukem Forever was actually within expectations for the classic game fanbase.. but the ones in between were milquetoast in comparison to just how racy the original was.

@Christmas Merlin reddit silver is literally nothing. It's a verbal token of appreciation, in much the same way as idiots who have too much money give reddit gold to people.
To be fair, this imaginary nonexistent award has about the same benefits as reddit gold. Except the ability to see what links you've clicked on on a different PC. Because basic functionality of an addon is worth paying for!
