i think main problem is the two different political systems in each country. in western countries that are predominantly christian there is a clear separation of church and state. in more islamic countries there is less so and i think that can have an effect on the power behind the messages in each of the sacred texts
yes i think in many cases there is confusion because where they left religious law was the law and when they arive it is not.
This can be seen with the amazon fiasco where because islamic workers think they have to pray 5 times a day feel penalized by normal western working conditions
yeah but now we live in a funny time where the media is heavily left but the average disengaged person is typically moderate. so even though the center right is currently politically in control history is being written by the left. Look at gamergate and how historians will probably view it even though the mainstream narrative is obviously false to everyone close to it
im hoping things dont escalate to worse violence. the problem with it is that it just separates the two sides further and makes it easier for either side to dehumanize the other
i think Tim made a good point about gen Z being more likely to be self employed. I think the big shift might be that Gen z women might continue the trend of college entrances while gen Z men move away from it. That could cause a massive unilateral debt crisis and cause even more gender conflict. i could be completely wrong though
