Most anime these days are overridden by awful tropes.

Usually dumb main characters.

Because a lot of series will have some shitty episodes.

And you waste an hour or two watching shitty episodes.

Where you could just spend an hour or two watching a good movie.

If you like isekai, I recommend Log Horizon and Overlord.

But even they're overridden with some tropes.

Bad tropes are.

I specifically mean things like clueless male characters who have no idea chicks are flirting with him.

And when they do stupid and cringey bullshit.

It's an old bad trope.

I usually like isekais, where that bullshit seems rampant.

So I guess I do it to myself.

Definitely makes sense.

Super overpowered main characters beating the fuck out of really shitty people.

I like how the butler just decapitates a criminal organization in five seconds.

Literally.

Claymore was kinda weird.

One reason I like Log Horizon is because a ton of people ended up getting moved to the new world.

Not just one or two.

It's the idea of a group of normal people from our world taking on a brand new world.

Learning how the system works and then figuring out how to break it for their personal gain.

Which is also a really great isekai.

Maybe if he's a witch, we should figure out how to exploit his powers for our own gain.
