His dad passed away 35 years prior and it was just sitting in a safe. He said it was kind of rough and bubbaed got it for 450 bucks

@Da/k/ota it was in rough shape when i got it whole thing was spray painted black. Had the wrong sling. Someone carved a diamond pattern on the wrist they cut the stock and put a rubber pad on.

Put a screw in the mag and left 5 rounds loaded in it for 35 years. So ordered a new 65 dollar 10rd mag. Because the original mag wouldn't feed rounds 5-10 so i had to gut the new mag and put the new parts in the old mag body.

Then I took denatured alcohol to the stock stripped off all the paint. Then sanded down the wrist to get rid of the grip in the wrist.

Had the metal parts all done in black moly resign and a friend polished the bolt.

Did 3 coats of stain 1 coat of polyurethane.

The stock sadly I ordered a butt plate but because they cut the stock for the rubber pad it didn't fit. And a new stock is 165 dollars.

Got the right sling. Couldn't find a bayonet anywhere that was under 400 dollars then I found one in Canada from 2015 the Russians used them in a parade it was only 30 bucks.

I saved this one too it was in a garage fire my buddy just gave it to me said he didn't want to mess with it. I thought the chared stock. So I sanded it smooth then polyurethane on the burn wood.

Soaked the bolt in WD40 for 2 days ran about 10 patches down the bore put the bolt back in and typical Enfield action butter smooth.

Guess its not a true jungle carbine someone hacked it up to look like it
