a bit annoying that they closed down the border crossings though, the weekend was hectic because of some co-workers who couldn't come in because of that
tbh if i want to go to Mexico I go to Tecate, no guards to get in (which means I don't have to get a Mexican visa), close to many vineyards, and is famous for its bakeries and Tecate beer
I was thinking of moving to ensenada, because I only have to be at work during the weekends and can remote in otherwise, far cheaper than living in San Diego and could live like a king, don't know if I still want to do that now
it's a long, arduous process in order to acquire a legal status within the states. employers love having undocumented workers because they can pay them pittances and threaten being reported if they complain
very annoyed at how entitled they act, like they deserve a spot in the states just for existing. had to work at a low position for years just to retain the company sponsorship of my H1-B, the day I received the green card it was a huge weight off my shoulders
