So, need advice... I'm building an SBR, but at the same time, fuck the ATF, I don't want to get put on an SBR registry and pay a tax stamp... so now I'm looking at AR-15 pistols instead.... what are your guys thoughts on the best braces out there? I'm pretty much set on this one, from Gear Head Works, though I'm curious what else you guys have seen out on the market.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I agree 100%.... I mean, I look at this thing, and go "lol, ummm, that's a fucking stock..." And they're like "Nope, ATF says it's technically not!"

The reality is that there is an entire market of custom pieces, and other gun items that ONLY exist to get around regulations...

The pistol brace exists because of the ATF.

The only other one I see get linked consistently by others is the Maxim Brace

@Thesoldier I'm 5''3 haha, so I'm definitely a smaller frame guy. I know what I'm looking for 😃 It also depends on what you're trying to use it for. I'm slapping a can on the end of it too, so that should give me an extra, meh, 3% bullet velocity? It tacks on a couple inches onto the barrel. You're not going to be hitting much out to 400yds with anything under a 16", but again, it all depends on what you're getting the gun for.
