I took a 5-day class in Utah just over a month ago

The only reason I watched the new magnum pi was because they gave him a Costa carry sti

Watching guys trying to get good reps in while dealing with ammo issues is funny

Set yourself up for success. You have limited training time, your ammo better run.

Hard to focus on actually learning the task at hand when your gear isn't running. You gotta set yourself up for success

I understand that much, but plenty of people show up to those classes with crap guns and have issues anyway

Sometimes steel case is actually better

My travel partner had ammo that was super dirty for his .40

Like if you want better fouling in your rifle barrels

I have a SW 1911. Fun to play around with occasionally.

I rescued a friend recently who’s boomer dad convinced him to get a 1911 for his edc. Bought a glock instead.

They do not like steels

I've seen all the STIs at the local pin and plate shoots choke

My STIs have run well, but they're not perfect.

My 1911 has jammed multiple times at the range when I’ve shot it. Two world wars tho...

But the same guy will come back next month with the same gun and have the same issue

People forget the OG 1911s had shit for tolerance
